When he got injured did he have a stroke at the same time or something? Where did his football intelligence go? He has no idea what happening out there. How in the hell was this guy ever a heralded LB? How in the hell did 2018 ever happen. Hes just terrible.

I had hopes that he would return to form when we switched coordinators but he's only gotten worse. Im positive the coaches see that and considering how this week has gone I believe his playing time is about to diminish.

Id love to believe these cuts/trades aren't only about cap savings but progress stoppers. Of this team has any chance of change guys like Jaylon need to sit. Does he watch film at all???

It happens a lot. He was a freak athlete in college. He could cover up a lot of his warts with brute force talent. His injury took a toll on him, along with the sharp increase in his opposition's talent at the NFL level. His 8-9 games in 2018 were a fluke.

Check the NFL stats leader for tackles.

Jaylon has 75

Best in the NFL.

When the announcers talk about eye discipline regarding our players.. Plays like this are what they are talking about.

He's done as a Cowboy or will be benched eventually. All he can do is blitz.

he is best in the nfl at being around a pile of players making the actual tackle and taking contact, while he comes in late and gets a hand on the runner so he gets credit for a tackle. And those are the times he is actually around the ball and not running out of the action to protect his legs. All flash; no substance is his brand. We’ve all seen enough of him to not fall for your stats. You have stats, we have reality.

That was one expensive fluke. All that draft stock and patience came to fruition for a brief shinning moment and it cost us big time.

why would they cut Jaylon? he leads the NFL in tackles.

Not good enough?!?

Jaylon was severely compromised by his injury and will never approach the player he was in college. That's evident for all to see. He's leading the team and NFL in tackles because no one
else on the Cowboy's defense can play football at all.
