It has not stopped lee from making tons of tackles no reason to think smith won't be successful with his speed

Not to mention his cover skills will be invaluable

Hope you're right. But the scouting report video seemed to suggest that Smith is not the best fit for our type of D given Marinelli's emphasis on rushmen.

Well it's all speculation at this point lets just hope the nerve fires and we get a chance to see. But the thought of him covering Jordan Reed or Sproles would give this defense some added flexibility. I am trying to control my enthusiasm but tuff when seems the talent is there.

If he ever comes back he will instantly be our best player and best pass rusher. Of course that's not saying much. But he is a stud that's for sure.

He already explained it, as it is explained in the video. He has a hard time engaging blockers. In Marinelli's defense, only one defensive lineman is supposed to occupy space, meaning the linebackers have to be able to shed blocks and keep themselves clean. This is something Smith struggles with.

It's hilarious when people continue to show their ignorance on the defense that Marinelli runs. It's actually suppose to free up the linebacker to run free to the ball. Many want to even claim it's outdated even though the seahawks run a similar scheme.

Cowboy Fans say your prayers every night that Jaylon Smith knee heals why you ask check this vid out.

This draft may go down as one of the best in a long time.

Romo's future Heir apparent
Fantastic Linebacker in Smith
Game Changing Running back

Then again it's early but this vid will get you excited for next year for sure ! ENJOY

Prescott is the key to this draft one way or the other. If we have found our franchise QB, which I fully think we have, then no matter who else we drafted this is an A+. But hell yah, if you add Zeke and a healthy Smith to the mix then this could possibly be one of the best draft of all time.

And there was a guy that said this exact same thing before Dak played in that first preseason game and I completely laughed in his face. I have never been more happy to be completely wrong. :)

Luke Kuechly is ABOUT Jaylon's size, but he came into the NFL already known as a guy that was excellent at shedding and keeping himself clean to make plays.

Kuechly has a very good DL in front of him too. He wouldnt make nearly the plays here.

Can anyone confirm the nerve is firing for real?

Or is this just some more internet BS?
A couple of weeks ago he was asked, "is the nerve refiring? Are you making progress?"....something to this effect.

He said, "yes". Now, some on here overreacted and said, "HIS NERVE IS REFIRING!". But that's not what was said. He was saying yes to making progress....improving. He never specifically said the nerve was refiring.

In the interview with his brother, Sham asked him if his nerve was regenerating. He said there was definite progress. He was very mysterious with his answer. He said something about asking Britt about it. Sham said he would.

I'm with you Ron that's why I think it is important for Dak to play until Romo is healthy great experience
