Gregory may not play anymore either.... what if Dallas decided Staubach may not leave the Navy?

I respect your viewpoint... but I think I'd take a chance... if he's there as a 4th Rd comp pick, I'd take him.

I would without a doubt spend a 4th on him. He is a guy that I believe in on and off the field, and if it doesn't work out a 4th is worth the gamble. A chance to get an All-Pro LB for a red shirt year? Easy.

After all, how many of our 4th rounders really become anything?

If he didn't sever the nerve he can heal fine. Nerves are tricky but I would not be surprised in the least if he came form after this season layoff. Problem with Lattimore is that his knee structurally went out the window.
