No more dumb stupid comments like yours bro?

Anger management class is in the next forum over.

Cranky huh?

Give it a break son..

you only show off your real side when you post like that.

Another comment like that and the Ignore button is out.

I try not to do that..but you are close

Just enjoy the rest of the season.

Ignore me if you wish, but I'm still going to call stupid, dumb, moronic, comments stupid, dumb and moronic.

No he replied and said he just thought it was funny. I still question him!
Brother, I think you might wanna relax a little and think about whether your response is appropriate sometimes. Even if he was making fun of Jaylon, I don't see how that's a big deal. IMO, a reply like the one you gave him should be reserved for someone wishing injury on a player, or maybe someone making bogus accusations about the player as a person.

I'm not criticizing you, just trying to help you out, assuming part of why you're here is to make friends.

I appreciate your attempt to help out. I'll tell you where this comes from. I just think there is something seriously wrong with a "fan" who after the Cowboys played their best all around game this season that they find anything funny about a win like that. Especially when it was so obvious that Smith was diving for the ball that Lee got before him and then after getting up and hustling down field to try and help he see a ram closing in on Lee and he slips trying to stop to block him. I'm sorry but I don't find any of that funny in the slightest way. I see that as a total hustling player. I'll also be honest in that in the past I've been critical of Smith or at least using a high 2nd round pick on him. But again thanks for trying to help.

I guess I'm one of those people who can find humor in just about anything. I really don't think he meant anything by it. Oh well, we're all different and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Jaylon Smith dives to the ground for some reason just as Lee is catching the ball. Lee runs it back a few yards then Smith is up and running as a lead blocker. As they run down the field, Smith tried to put on the brakes to throw a block and winds up on the ground again.

Point #7 in this article has the play

Nice catch.

Yep, Jaylon falling down *twice* on the same play when he was trying to break down when running forward. He just ain't right.

Doesn't work at this site. For some reason it doesn't seem to work at their site.

Jaylon was clearly diving for the ball the first time, and trying to stop and block someone coming from behind the second time.

Diving to a spot yards away from where the ball fell?

His foot just caught on the turf and he tripped. It's happened before.

Better video at 720p, and you can change the speed. There was no need to dive. Lee had his hands *up* to catch the ball just 3 yards away.

That pass was gonna get picked either by Lee or Jaylon. Was glad to see Lee get it but Jaylon may have been better for the return. Our LB aren’t playing as good as last season for some reason. Maybe the scheme change or the D-Line not keeping them as clean.
Better for the return? Lol? Tf?

Maybe "lunging" would be the better word, but either way, it's not (like the OP is suggesting) like Smith just randomly dove to the ground. He was going for the ball, but Lee got to it first.

You watch that play and what you come away with is that Jaylon was on the ground twice...

He got off the ground in a hell of a hurry and quickly got down the field.

Players his size can't stop while running full apeed and make that block.

I was impressed with JLewis on that run back. He makes a block on the backside and then runs forward to make another block. The guy is super aware of the situation on the field.
He has been beyond terrible this season. He takea chances that occasionally result in an INT but has been terrible on the majority of snaps. Worse vs run than pass.

So you think it's funny that Smith was diving for the ball that Lee picked off before it go to him and then he gets up and races down field to help and slips trying to stop and do a block. You are one strange duck!
.

Oh calm down. There's nothing wrong with finding a reason to laugh. Laughter is a really good thing.

Remember the old NFL Films “follies” shows where they would show players stumbling around etc with sound effects? This play could have been on those shows. In the spirit of humor and fun.

Either guy could have picked that. Jaylon probably would have been excited just knock it down. Lee kept his body control. Horrible pass into no window. Thank the sun god for that pick.

Jaylon not the type to come up with that kind of jump the ball INT, I too believe he would have just knocked it down instead of extending and snatching the ball outta air for an INT.
Pretty much like Byron Jones does. That's what is gonna limited Jaylon as an overall player. I used to see draft profiles that compare him to Derrick Brooks and Derek Johnson, before
eventually being compared to Luke Kuechly (per Michael Irvin cheerleading for him) .. but any of those comparisons are ridiculous. he doesn't jump passing lanes like those guys do.

if Jaylon gets into any turnover bid, it's gonna come out of his physical tackling. He can really lay a wallop and sometimes jar the ball loose for a fumble upon arrival on receivers and ball carriers
when he flies to the ball after building up that running start momentum.

In a fantasy world, it's Jaylon that I would love to see anticipating the QB and jumping the passing lanes - (which Sean Lee is terrific at that when he was running the middle) .
I tend to think LVE can be good at jumping the passing lanes in the middle as well.
