I love Smith's heart. I love his spirit. I hate seeing him on the field.

He shouldn't even be active on game day let alone playing significant snaps. He is not ready. You can get dozens of other players to do better than him right now.

Smith was the longest of long shots to begin with. He needs a lot more time and healing if he has any shot at all. He was an outstanding College player...but even if he was 100% healthy there was no guarantee he would be a great NFL player, never mind the injury and outrageous hype he is receiving in Dallas.

If Jaylon was ever a spy then I have to put it more on coaches than the kid. He is so incompetent laterally even spying a QB is too much.

I feel bad for Smith. This isn't his fault. It is on the coaches for not having a better back up plan for our LB spot. Kid should be playing ST and spot duty but instead he is starting. That isn't on him.

Well I said it 103 times in live chat, but will say it here too.

Maybe he will be able to contribute later, but right now he just looks awful.....and without Lee out there it has shown even more.

We do have to get him off the field, maybe he can heal. But right now, he is killin us and Jerry, just pull the plug on this experiment for now.

I say Jerry, cause any coach can see it, even our idiot coaches.

Playing him in the middle was a mistake from day one. He never took on Guards @ ND. He is a run and chase LBer...and right now..he can't run.
