He should wear 1/2 because he only has one leg.

sure am glad to see Jaylon is working very hard on honing his craft and improving this offseason instead of worrying about his "branding" and platform. Wow what a relief.

I was a big Romo fan from the first moment I saw him play, and I think he was a much better quarterback than the team results showed throughout his career.

Romo had really good stats over the years, but he never reached the "special" level that deserves protection of his jersey number.

As much as I liked and respected Romo, Irvin's 88, Woodson's 28 and Ware's 94 numbers were more deserving of protection than Romo's 9 and those numbers have been worn by other players without any hesitation.

About the only real argument you could make for any Cowboy's player over the last 15 years to have their number protected would be Witten's 82, but even that is not without its debates.

He never should have been wearing Randy Whites number to begin with.

very true you cant protect 9 because of # shortages and well romos not HOF player however id like to see it go to another QB with potential like the next very qb after dak we are very high on and asks for the #..thats different and most of the 88s still getting handed out were deserving of it..even Antonio Bryant had potential if he didnt throw a jersey in parcels face LOL , simply only give out the more special numbers to players with potential to be specials..

so not to JS NO!

it would be more indicative of his LBer quality rating. (just to be clear, on a scale to 100 with 100 being the best)

might want to wear it but im all for the nfl having set numbers for each position

if they didnt you'd have a team full of 1-19's 20-39's and thats it

40-59 and 90-99 is good enough for linebackers if they want they can wear 80-89 its not like receivers want those numbers anymore

To me it was more than stats and rings, it was about Tony's attitude.

No one in the last 20 years gave more and left more on the field for the star than Tony.

He's lucky to be wearing any number on the team..much less the Manster or even Romo's...

I don't care which number he wants. There's more important matters than this to put a burr under my saddle.

9 because he grossly mis-reads 9 plays per game?

Well the 9 that preceded him, grossly mis-threw to the opposite team about 9 plays per game; so he'd just be continuing the legacy of boneheaded failures for that number.
