I can't rejoice over someone losing their job. I don't understand the glee some get because someone else is no longer employed via a company decision to let them go. :(

I'm sure you're held to a certain standard at your job. These guys were atrocious and held premier jobs that some guys would kill for.

They never worked on their craft in Dallas, minus Sturm and a couple more. They just had to become drinking buddies with someone important.

Fisher is a perfect example.

They may get what - professionally - they deserve. But I still can't rejoice of them getting cut like this. Again, this is my opinion. Others don't have to feel the same way I do. I guess I know what it's like to be on the negative side of downsizing - even though, for me, it was the best thing to happen to me because I landed a better job with better hours, better benefits and better pay.

JJT is an exclusive reporter for all Dallas sports.

Personally, I detest Mr. Blue Suit over JJT. As bad as JJT was to Dez, Mr. Blue Suit was worse to other players and the organization, particularly T.O. But, Dez is far more liked than T.O. so people tend to think T.O. deserved it.

I heard about Mr. Blue Suit being fired before JJT. At first the layoffs were something I felt bad about...but then the attitude of some of those that were laid off and other reporters coming to their defense and once again...acting like they are far better and more important than they actually are and that's when I stopped feeling sorry for the no talents like Mr. Blue Suit and JJT.

Unfortunately, talented people like Trent Dilfer, Len Elmore and Jayson Stark were let go. And nothing will really change...they'll just find cheaper versions of hacks like Mr. Blue Suit and JJT.

Trent Dilfer? Talented? Mr. "You can lose games in the NFL and still win"? Lot of ex-jocks can be better than Dilfer. People hate JJT because he says something about their favorite team that they didn't like.

Everybody says something stupid at times and that was taken out of context.

I can't speak for everybody, but I just thought JJT was a lousy writer. His opinions aside, I could never get over how such a poor writer had a job.

I won't rejoice his personal misfortune. I will rejoice no longer having to read his diatribe or listen to his facile arrogance.

There are herds of self loathing sheep that love the Galloways of the world for "keeping it real."

JJT was lazy. During TC you can see him schmoozing important people and hitting on interns instead of watching practice.

His articles were oversimplified guesses inserted as fact like his annual "this is the one person running the Cowboys now" articles. He spent most of his time telling people how they should or should not feel about the team or a player as opposed to reporting on the team factually.

Throw on top of that a heap of arrogance and he is quite easy to despise.

But many here hate Werder also. Why was their much empathy shown for him in that thread and good riddance to JJT? Should hate to see anyone lose their job, right? Especially one who's only maybe said something negative about your favorite team.

I think the Dallas media market is now better off. Personally, I am not much into faux sympathy which boils down to personal worry.

There have been people talking about feeling bad that JJT lost his job in this thread too to go along with you going cavalier in defense of him.

I am entitled to my sentiment too.
