practice and real games are totally different.

If you do not show it in practice, you do not play.they dont know, how could they know lol.

They used a 6th round pick and took a flyer on the kid BC his dad is a scout and it made for a nice moment. If his dad wasn't on the cowboys staff, there is no way they draft him. We punt away 6th and 7th round picks anyway. We haven't hit on a player in either round for over 5 years. I think Donavan Wilson in 2019 was the last late round pick who became a starter or did anything.Well I never said he would be great or even better than avg.
I said he should have got a better shot at showing something, than 2 carries in a game.
If they actually gave him time in ps, or reg season, then the pick would not seem so stupid as it is now.
Your saying they drafted a clown, to please his dad ???? Hmmmm.
and who was it?The "he didn't play anybody" argument is so played out. By that logic, every single RB in the MWC should have these type of years, season in and season out.
Talent it talent.
A QB from the MWC just won the NFL MVP.
Well that's just not true. He was the top name on their board when they were on the clock. And they hadn't drafted a RB yet. They used a 6th round pick and took a flyer on the kid BC his dad is a scout and it made for a nice moment. I agree with you 100%, Omarion Hampton is the best RB in this draftI have been seeing people here say get Jeanty !! lol
So I looked at his HL reel for 2024 , and my first thought, was this guy is another duece, only he has big thighs, and that enables him to run thru tackles at times,
But these are college guys who will never make the nfl. When Jeanty hits the pros, he wont be running thru tackles, and he wont have giant holes, and it will all be different.
I dont think he is a round 1 or 2 pick, maybe 3rd or 4th at best.
The other thing is dallas had no clue how to use duece, so I would have no reason to think they would know how to use Jeanty.
Dallas needs a standard size RB, that they can use in a standard way.
I thought Duece had potential, but not with cowboys. This Jeanty may have potential, but only with the right coaches and team.
What do you guys think??
He’s not 5’9, more like 5’6/5’7 and in the NFL he’s not an every down backJeanty weighs more than Dowdle. He is an every down back. He's a sturdy guy who's only 5'9". Same height as Emmitt. Jeanty's success or failure in the NFL won't have anything to do with his size
strange how everyone that knows more about football than you says otherwiseHe’s not 5’9, more like 5’6/5’7 and in the NFL he’s not an every down back
What’s strange is that you think they know more about football than I do. Actually that’s hilarious .strange how everyone that knows more about football than you says
I am falling down laughing at the internet expert. What’s strange is that you think they know more about football than I do. Actually that’s hilarious .
You can’t find many people that do know more, heck everyone can’t know more
Get up off the floor because as long as you stay there things will continue to be over your head.I am falling down laughing at the internet expert.
the ego that ate Jupiter.
We will never know for sure bc the cowboys aren't going to cheapen the moment by calling it a sentimental pick. But, we do know that they consider and have discussions about multiple players with every pick. It is not as simple as selecting the next highest ranked player on the board. We know that much bc the board has been leaked 4 times and we used to have audio.Well that's just not true. He was the top name on their board when they were on the clock. And they hadn't drafted a RB yet.
