He is unfortunately one of the worst safeties in the league. When he started to take snaps with the team, he was at least making some hard knocks or hard tackles. Now he doesn't have either. Sometimes he is called for some real nice plays on defense but his missing the tackles are mostly very costly for the team.

Jeff Heath has some pretty amazing straight line speed... I will give him that ...Barkley I think was just as stunned how he didnt dust heath

I like Heath as an over the top FS, but he's a liability in man coverage.

Yeah he missed 2 tackles but actually tracked down Barkley saving what I, and everyone else thought to be a TD. He's not the best safety in the league but he sure the heck isn't the worst...

Heath-seekimg missile has a sketchy performance record. Not as bad as some claim but certainly doesn't inspire confidence.

He has horrible hips. A must in coverage. Every receiver gets separation with one move. He can’t cover anybody. Isolate on him one game and there’s no way you think he’s even an average safety.
