Jeff Heath

Not down on Heath, at all. If anything that just means he'll make a good play next week, right? Haha bounce back Heath.
 
He is a terrible tackler, that is his biggest problem, if he tackled better he'd be much more serviceable but the guy whiffs WAY too much. Most of the time he is trying to strip the ball and it never works. He is hurting himself by not being a solid tackler. Some of his angles are questionable as well but I still say his biggest issue is not being a sure tackler and at SS that is the most important trait.
 
I have been saying for a few years now the Cowboys defense can never be great until they get the impact safety they're missing. Heath is inconsistent but his tackling today was abysmal. Frankly, the entire defense has me worried going into the playoffs. Manning and the Giants abused them today. Teams have figured they can beat Byron Jones with deep stuff.
 
Get ready to see Heath getting isolated and forced to make that tackle all game long

No but I get sick of people ripping on him like he's the worst ever. Woods isn't any better and he's made some plays and I'm not saying he's perfect but there's alot of safeties that get burnt in this league now

Heath broke up 2 tds...ran down barkely and broke up the pass into the corner

Giants then went right back at the left corner out of a diff formation and x.woods didn't get close to getting over the top

We get sick of horrible safety play. You wont like it when we get beat in the playoffs because Heath is whiffing on tackles or getting thrown to the ground.

There's plenty of guys missing tackles on the defense...Heath ain't the only one. You won't like Woods missing tackles either

Heath ran down Barkley. Has has great straight line speed. But that's all he has. Barkley makes one move and burns him. Like he did the next time.

Some of these clowns need to over react. Heath has done a good job all season long and has played a key role to this defense. Defense in general looked off today but did come up with some big stops holding the Giants to a 3 after the turnover and 4 and out after being setup with great field position. I think some people just need to find something to complain about
