Uh, no

Scandrick has NEVER given up a completion since pee wee football..

haven't you heard?

Jenkins is a bust

Wait.... what?

Seriously, its like some people on this board think being a first round pick is a reason to not like a player.

I will be the first to say it, I think Jenkins is a better corner than Scandrick. Then again, I don't hold grudges or have some unfounded love for the underdog.

This secondary situation with the Cowboys is getting downright scary. Teams love to pick on the weak DB when it comes to us because we have so many strengths elsewhere, once they find a weakness in our defense, they are relentless sometimes even embarassing us, it's gonna be a tough season...here's hoping for the best.

Scan should have started. But because Jenkins is a 1st rounder...pft.

Scandrick hasn'tmade a big play in his entire career. Pft indeed. This competition has been handled perfectly. If Orlando wanted the job he should've made more plays. Tough luck

1st rounder does not mean anything, best man on the field, plain and simple.
If you are not the starter, then play harder when given the opportunity. Beat out that starter.

1st rounder thing is just an excuse. Yes I love it when our 3rd thru 7th round draft picks are a hit for us but they still have to compete to be the best as does those 1st and 2nd rounders.

When has Jenkins made a big play in his career? The INT for a TD that was thrown right at him because Eli and Plax had a miscommunication?

I guess all those TDs thrown right at Asante Samuel are "flukes", too. Ty Law...ect..

Does the DB get any credit for seeing what throw is coming?

Competition? No, it has never been a competition. It’s all about draft status or Jerry Jones meddling. Jenkins is a good corner and will be a good one, but Scan has been better. If you follow the camp reports and have watched the last two preseason games. Zero catches on Scandrick.

:laugh2:

Jenkins had his eyes open while he was playing football.

Set up a spot in Canton for him.

What's up with you?

What's up with you "worring about Newman's" play?

Don't give Jenkins credit for playing well.

I don't care.

Join the other people in the Dallas media and get your Scandrick palm palms out.

You know what?

The Dallas media sure didn't attack Jenkins' play in Wade's press conference on Saturday.

If Jenkins played poorly, the Dallas media would have been all over it and pushing Scandrick.

I'm sure they will play that card when they get the opportunity.

Did I say he was going to the "Hall of Fame"?

You disappoint me.

If you don't want to give the player credit for reading a three step drop and jumping all over that out route, don't give him credit.

That's one more INT/pick 6 than your guy Scandrick had.

I'll tell you this, too.

You want more picks. I've heard you say it.

We'll, that play Jenkins made on Eli Manning is the exact same play that has made Asante Samuel famous, the exact same play.

When one of our guys does it, it's "luck".

What ever.

Jenkins is sitting on routes. He has said it in his interviews. Thats why he let two guys go right by him against the Titans. VY and the WRs noticed it and tried to take advantage of his over aggressiveness. Personally, id rather have a corner mirror the WR than taking gambles like that.

It's not about me.

This one is on you. The kid played well. He's going to be a good CB.

But you are so transparent about players you 'love' that you twist stuff around so blatantly that it makes you look silly.

That INT that he got against the Giants last season was a complete gift. But you are trying to offer up 'high praise' for him on it. That glory should be given out when the kid does something well, not when he does nothing but stand there and catch a football thrown right to him.

You were all over here trying to tell everyone he didn't make a bad play when he let Britt go by him and got lucky Vince underthrew the ball.

Just be real about it. Stop trying to say everything he does is equal to him laying the golden egg.

Now Scandrick is my guy?

That's your problem. You are so defensive that if anyone says he had a few bad plays to go along with a lot of good plays you categorize them as 'Scandrick guys' who are hating on your boy Jenkins.

You do it with Newman too.

Just try being a little objective for once on these two players. If you do that you may see that the people who are criticizing him aren't even as extreme with their commentary as you are in defending him.

I am laughing about all of this. You seem to be crazy serious. Relax bro.

Asante Samuel did it in the playoffs against Peyton Manning.

Listen, when Jenkins sits on a route and jumps it for a pick six I will get all over it and send him much love.

But when he's looking into the backfield as his WR runs right him and the QB/WR are on completely different wavelengths and the QB throws the comeback route and the WR runs the go route and Jenkins is the benefciary of doing nothing but being on the field I appluad because the Cowboys got a TD.

I don't go taking that film over Deion Sanders and start telling him this is the new technique he should be teaching at Prime U. I don't want Deion laughing at me.
