Terry Glenn doesn't matter, people.

Think of him like this; Imagine he was on another team and he was the guy Jerry was interested in and eyeing up for a possible acquisition. Now, with his age, his knee AND his history of cancerism to a team....How many actually want him?

I personally think the answer is easy, and we've been through it about a half-dozen times this off-season already with other aging has-beens whose names have come up. And Terry Glenn is less a commodity then half of them, too boot.

I think you underestimate Terry. He's just too short. That's why he doesn't work out here... :)

Just to bum everyone out.

Just saw this on the nfldraftcountdown boards. Guy says he saw Drew Rosenhaus and Eagles camp.

At Eagles training camp. Walked up about ten feet away from me and was watching the team warm up. He is sort of taller and skinnier than i had imagined. He's an alright guy, I could tell he wanted to be left alone so I really only said one sentence to him. One guy asked him what he was doing there and not in Cincy, but he came back with his answer, which I think was a joke. He said he was heading straight for there after he left the Eagles camp. I asked him how long until Anquan Boldin is an Eagle. He said, "Where'd you hear that from?" Then he was joking again (at least I think) when he said, "Keep your eyes open". Was on his phone quite a bit, understandably, but it seemed he just wanted to watch the players. Didn't seem arogant like some people might think.

This will help explain Drews presence there.

SHEPPARD, AGENT MEET WITH REID, BANNER

Posted by Mike Florio on July 26, 2008, 11:03 p.m.
A source with knowledge of the situation tells us that Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard and agent Drew Rosenhaus held on Saturday a sit-down with Eagles coach Andy Reid and team president Joe Banner.
The meeting was described as calm and productive. Sheppard still wants a trade or a new contract.
The Saturday hamstring injury to Asante Samuel might have caused the Eagles to realize that it would be prudent to keep both Samuel and Sheppard. If they do, however, they’ll likely need to bump up Sheppard’s salary significantly.
Sheppard is signed through 2011, at salaries of $2 million, $3 million, $3.7 million, and $4.25 million, respectively over the next four seasons.
With Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin unhappy in Arizona and resigned to departing once his contract expires after the 2010 season, a trade of Sheppard for Boldin might make sense. The Eagles likely would have to kick in a little bit more to even out the package, and both teams would have to be ready to pony up the cash to the player received via any such transaction.

Now I hope he isn't trying to help swing a trade. Seems the smEagles need their depth at CB due to the Samuel's hammy injury.
