Jeremy Lin > Carmelo Anthony?

Actually Carmelo fits perfectly. All offense, no defense. That's D'Antoni's style of basketball. He is like a different form of Don Nelson.

But Carmelo's offensive game is more about isolation which kills d'Antoni's system of ball movement, pick n'rolls, etc.

Not a good fit. Hopefully, Melo can adapt.

Donnie Nelson grabbed him undrafted and Mavs had him in Dleague then Warriors signed him. Would be nice to still have him,but we were filled with guards and he deserved a shot to play.

3 pointer to win the game tonight! Unreal story. wow.

Stolen from JJT on FB..

Jeremy Lin 2012 = Tony Romo 2006

Same out of nowhere phenom trying to take the league by storm.

The knicks need this kid to be real, not in the scoring area, but in directing and running d'Antoni's O. The coach's job most likely depends on it.

Too soon to tell. Story's not written yet.

It is a much better comparison than the ones I keep hearing between Lin and Tom Brady. Brady started 5 Super Bowls, Lin has started 5 games.

Grasshopper. Wisdom take time. Time you have not experienced yet. Talking out of your *** doesn't make you right. It makes you look stupid when you life proves you wrong. ;)

Best thing to do is when you do not now is, shut the **** up! :p:

How am I talking out of my ***? Because I'm not on the Lin bandwagon? Please the kid has had a few games lets see him do this all season and then I'll give him his props.

Melo will squash the whole team when he starts being a ball hog.

Lin is good and always was. In the D league he played very well. In Dantonis system there isnt any defense and the PG score a lot. I like the Lin is doing well good for him. it also makes Deron Williams not wanna go there lol.

You declared him a bust already. Considering he is still lighting it up since this all began, you are talking out of your ***. ;)

Very accurate comparison between him and Romo in 2006. Both came out of nowhere to save their team's season and both get boosted media coverage/attention because of the storied franchises they play for
