Jeremy Lin > Carmelo Anthony?

I think Lin is a more complete basketball player and more of a team player than Carmelo. That's why I think he's better.

Lin is making the Knicks better. Coincidence that Denver has won more games than the Knicks since that trade? I think not.

It also shows a complete lack of understanding of the game of basketball too. Carmello is a small forward that's there to score points. Lin is there to facilitate the offense, distribute the ball and take advantage of scoring opportunities; he's there to feed the ball to guys like Carmello.

Of course Lin is going to appear to be more of a "team" guy, that's part of his job description.

I think the big difference between Tebow and Lin is that folks are witnessing Lin play at a high level. With Tebow, he'd win by hook-or-by-crook and almost despite himself.

You're one of my favorite posters here but c'mon man Melo is 100x the player Lin is. I think Melo is overrated (Nowhere near Durant's level IMO), but he's still a terrific player and an All Star.

I agree with most of your post however you should get the facts straight. Carmelo isnt even in the top 50 scoring all time. If that is what you meant.Everything else u r correct with.
