I think Lin is a more complete basketball player and more of a team player than Carmelo. That's why I think he's better.

Lin is making the Knicks better. Coincidence that Denver has won more games than the Knicks since that trade? I think not.
:lmao2: this guy....

this is what i hate about the Lin phenomenon....all these fair weather basketball fans make outrageous comments like this.

It also shows a complete lack of understanding of the game of basketball too. Carmello is a small forward that's there to score points. Lin is there to facilitate the offense, distribute the ball and take advantage of scoring opportunities; he's there to feed the ball to guys like Carmello.

Of course Lin is going to appear to be more of a "team" guy, that's part of his job description.

I think the big difference between Tebow and Lin is that folks are witnessing Lin play at a high level. With Tebow, he'd win by hook-or-by-crook and almost despite himself.

Love watching the irrational hatred coming again.

Kid is playing great and the same people are trying to find reasons for him not to be any good.

You're one of my favorite posters here but c'mon man Melo is 100x the player Lin is. I think Melo is overrated (Nowhere near Durant's level IMO), but he's still a terrific player and an All Star.

Ur joking correct? Lin better than Anthony? Wow.Lin is playing great and works hard. But dude this is a few games and in Dantonis system.I do however not think Melo is a good fit in NY.He is an iso Forward. Dantoni doesnt really use much Iso.

Are you being serious??

12th highest scorer in NBA history, youngest player to score 40, probably the best forward in the game after Lebron.... Has been doing it consistently for 10 years... but yes, Jeremy Lin is better basketball player. Jeremy Lin, whos been doing it for 10 games. Unbelievable.
I agree with most of your post however you should get the facts straight. Carmelo isnt even in the top 50 scoring all time. If that is what you meant.Everything else u r correct with.

The hate is strong! Jeremy Lin is a better team basketball player than Carmelo Anthony!

The fact that your argument is that "Carmelo doesn't fit in that system" (a completely different system from that George Carl runs in Denver, by the way) fully supports the fact that as an OVERALL PLAYER Jeremy Lin is better. He makes his teammates better, and he's winning games.

The Tebow/Romo comparisons are asinine, at best.

He is a point guard goofy. All PG make their team better and play team ball. Thats the idea behind a POINT GUARD.Whats asinine is that you actually think he is a better player then a 10 year top scorer.Lin has what? 10 games. ******.I dont hate the kid. Cheers to him,but quit eating the ESPN hype.

Where was Carmelo tonight?

Jeremy did his thing 21 pts, 9 assists. Carmelo walks on the floor and the Knicks lose to the Nets.

Damn.

Don't hold him accountable, he doesn't know the game, much less...

I know basketball. Lin is not overrated.

Yes, he's overrated. If he leaves Knicks and coach d's style, he would be average.
