Right.

Who do you value more?

McCarthy is a puppet. What does he actually do? He's like an old, fat baby sitter.
Don't see a lot of fire in MM. Would love to see him break something on the sidelines just once. Unfortunately, he appears to be a type A personality.

Why not run a variation of the West Coast offense? Low-risk pass plays but keep moving the sticks. Screens, quick slants, 7-8 yard outs?
You mean low risk like the pass that was intended to CeeDee that got intercepted or the low risk on the next to last drive that went through the niners hands that should have been a pick 6. Or the pass in the flats to Elliot that spun him completely around. Or the dart to Zeke in front of the goaline from 5 yards away?

My wife and I went to all 3 SB's in the '90s and I understand your frustration but... reality check. Dak is not going anywhere for several years. Find a way to get the best from him. Bring in a new QB coach, bring in a new OC. Washington won a SB with Doug Williams at QB! Sort it out.

The game changed when our kicker couldn't make an extra point, Dak threw to the defenders, and overthrew open WRs. That's what changed it.

This whole "we were too aggressive" or "we should have been more conservative on this particular play" is over analyzing BECAUSE we lost. There were an entire two quarters left of football - spare me. Dak had enough chances to get things going and he just stunk it up.
LOL. Typical. Who designs the offense? Who calls the plays? Who's scheme is it? This team has been running the same scheme since Garrett took over. Romo stunk it up under this scheme as well unless he was calling his own plays from the line.

Teams know what is coming just by how we are aligned. Its incredible that I can watch on TV and know what play is coming. If I can do that. You dont think professionals can?

Right. Nothing changed since Romo left with the scheme....

Big brain takes.

Literally you can google it. The offense is the same.
Google what, specifically? Maybe you can give me the results that the scheme is the EXACT SAME that it was under Garrett and Linehan. To suggest that freakin' Mike McCarthy came in and looked at the scheme and side "That's good" and didn't change anything to suit the players is just utterly ridiculous and a complete reach to shift blame from a bozo QB to the coaching staff.

Let's get rid of McCarthy and Moore. I want to see Dak then go on to ruin whoever else we bring in. I'll tell you this right now: If Dak can't improve under McCarthy, a known QB guru, he's hopeless.

First of all. I am not making excuses for Dak's play at all. He was horrible.

The scheme is still based on the Air Coyrell system that Garrett implemented here. This isnt the west coast offense that MM ran in GB or even close to it. You really think Moore devised his own scheme? LOL.

I can literally pull up tape from 2014 and show you multiple plays and blocking schemes and route combinations that are identical to the crap we see in 2023. It may not be exactly the same but its damn close.

"It's still based on Air Coryell" - right, there has been no adjustment to that scheme since the 80s. It's the exact same. Evolution of these schemes hasn't happened.

Goodness this board lol
