It's not rocket science except for the GM. The last first round draft pick they selected at QB was Troy Aikman. This is the group that picked Quincy Carter and wanted Paxton Lynch. Jerry wanted Johnny Manzel. He lucked out on Romo and Dak. The biggest problem with this organization is the ownership.They don't know how to create a championship team. I wouldn't be surprised if the team regresses next year.

Troy use to get crushed until the OL got fixed. Eagles, Commanders and Giants placed a beating on him, early on. QB is definitely important, but if your OL is shaky......you gonna get breakdowns all over the place. Our OL is OVERRATED and currently under-developed. Philbin is fired today, if it were me.....and I'd be looking at KMoore with rolled eyes all day because my QB is regressing not progressing.

I think Aaron is past his prime but would be better than Dak and a nice stop gap but you cant afford him with Dak on the books. Need another receiver though.

Ever since Dallas won with Garrett as HC, he believes it’s ultimately the coordinators that matter. Jerry had to let go of Garrett because he couldn’t sell him anymore. The fact he Moore has complete control of the offense, even though that’s MMs speciality. MM staff has been pretty good overall.

In Dallas, it’s about the coordinators.

Why not run a variation of the West Coast offense? Low-risk pass plays but keep moving the sticks. Screens, quick slants, 7-8 yard outs?
