We need a real OC, jerry
Unfortunately it wouldn't matter. We have to have a simple offense cause Dak can't pick it up. That first year KM was the OC he had this brand new offense. Dak couldn't pick it up so we scraped it and went to the basics. He had new formations and lots of motion. Once Dak gets happy feet is over. Dak needs 10 other all pros to get to the SB and even then he might lose

Im not particularly blaming MM, but if we keep him, we're probably losing Quinn. Jerry's words are tantamount to saying ..."lets get rid of the one aspect of the team that's working"

Surely for continuity sake you promote DQ, with a protégé to continue 'HIS' defensive gameplan and then address the Offense.

Cmac,

There has been so many posts about Dak and this offense averaging 35 points a game since he returned. Didn't Moore have something to do with that?

I'm no big Moore fan, and I've been on a see-saw with Dak for 7 years. Where does the problem lie? We can't have it both ways.
To help you out.......even when the scoring is up, same plays are being called. So yes, KMoore should get accolades, during those moments.

My problem is when you're going against upper-tier teams, some of those plays don't necessarily work, so then what?

Running wide plays on short yardage, that are dependent on breaking a tackle or two, just to get past the chains.
Empty backfields telling the Defense more than it should know, pre-snap.
Addressing OL play with Philbin
Abandoning the run so early, too many times (conversations with Philbin again)
Why doesn't scheme have someone open on pass plays besides Lamb & Shultz as the key targets always?
Why is Dak regressing when Moore has been the QB coach and OC over him? (addressing strengths & weaknesses, and holding KMoore just as accountable)
How do others get involved in the offense more? (Gallup, TY, etc.)
Why aren't WRs "sitting" in spots during zone coverage? (Route running)
Why is the power package failing .....McGovern in the backfield? (conversation with Philbin)

I'd be asking these questions this morning, and calling the Secretary to have someone remove his personal property out the office, this morning. And Philbin being called on the intercom to come in next.

Yep. We have to find a way to run the ball and turn Dak into a bus driver during the playoffs. He has proven he performs badly when the pressure is intense. Pretty obvious the last two playoff losses.

Can't do that either. Dak likes to play hero ball. I bet a lot of runs get called but he audibles out of them. I think a lot of guys are pissed at him. One more season with him then cut him. You have to draft a QB round 1 next year

I'm sorry too Jerry. I'm sorry you ever bought the team. And yea I liked those SBs in the 90's. Thanks to Jimmy. Put him in the ROH and end this curse.

Pass, you're one of my favorite posters on here, but I have to disagree with you on this one.

Mike does the same thing Jimmy did, he oversees things. The difference to me is Jimmy had much more autonomy than Mike has. Jerry was still getting his toes wet when Jimmy was here, and I believe Jimmy had much more power to make changes.

I think this team likes Mikes and they play hard for him. Injuries have no longer been an excuse under Mike like they were with Garrett. He overcomes them. He's certainly not perfect, but I believe he's one of the better head coaches in the league.

I do wish he would take over play-calling. That's one of his strengths, and I think he's been neutered by Jerry and has no say over the offense. We are losing one of our coaches best attributes because of an owner.

Just my opinion. I like Mike a lot and think he could take this team to a SB if Jerry would just let go.
God, the stupidity of some fans
Can’t see the obvious

Mike may decide 2 walk away. Anyone think about that? The better team won. Even had we won this game we were so banged up and hurt, the Eagles would have beaten us. The game went just about the way I expected it. Purdy didn't beat us. Valiant try.

I enjoyed the season as well, I won another fantasy football championship and my eexpectations for the Cowboys were met (exactly actually)….

if one actually had expectations of going to and winning the Super Bowl, they haven’t been paying even a little attention to the last 25+ years…:)
Every other team in the playoffs has an exciting future. The Cowboys are as good as it's going to get.

Blame anyone you want but the missing link in this team is a good QB ... replace this jag we have and you will see a different result

As long as we have boot licking reporters like Mike Fisher enabling the man we call Jerry Jones after 27 years of failure, how can it ever change? Jerry is insulated by his guys. That said, even had we won, we were never winning the game next week. We are so injured and banged up. Losing 20 hurt bad.

replace him with who? Rodgers? Brady?Carr? I rather ride with him and wait for Arch Manning.

We'll just get another Jag. The ownership doesn't know the first thing about drafting a QB.
It's not exactly rocket science to figure out that the basic blueprint to building a team starts at QB. After that you need to be good in the trenches on both sides. The rest can be filled in from there.

Jerry called it sickening. Hmm..he was pissed off. A 7th rd QB just beat us, with lots of help from his team.

It's not rocket science except for the GM. The last first round draft pick they selected at QB was Troy Aikman. This is the group that picked Quincy Carter and wanted Paxton Lynch. Jerry wanted Johnny Manzel. He lucked out on Romo and Dak. The biggest problem with this organization is the ownership. They don't know how to create a championship team. I wouldn't be surprised if the team regresses next year.
