yeah but they are equally as finished..

I wouldn't say Dez is finished. Just because no team picks you up doesn't mean you don't have the talent or ability to compete in the NFL...(see Kap..he would be a good back up QB for any team)...

@stasheroo, thanks for recommending a listen to that podcast with Jane Slater. After listening to his interview with Jane Slater I still say "no". Not being able to control his emotions is one of the biggest detractors to me. In this interview, he admits he's still an emotional guy so I have no doubt he would still be a distraction to the team when his emotions flare-up. When I listen to him talk about working on his technique, I don't believe him. I can see where his fans would be sucked into this interview and be compelled to believe him but that's not me. I have no compassion for this fool. He is his own worst enemy and he has not learned anything from his past experiences. I'll bottom line this for you. If its a choice between him and Sean Lee, I'm picking Sean Lee. He needs to forget about the Cowboys and throw his resume to the entire league.

Best wishes Dez, I mean that.

Cool. I don’t begrudge you for your position and I’m glad you took the time to listen to it.

I'll say this if Jerry can give Jessie Hollie a look-see just because he won the playmaker's game show, he can give a look-see to a real Cowboy fan like Dez. Is that fair enough?

Fact is that no one knows how Dez might perform if given the opportunity.
His hard work and determination may work for him or it might not.

All I know is giving him a try out just to see doesn't mean your married to him..

Nice another voice of reason . You are exactly right nobody knows if he is NFL ready or not . All we do know is he is working 100% harder to prove it then he ever did when his ability was a given . Its a shame he didnt work this hard at the height of his ability in his prime

That said if the younger players are that much better it will prove itself out in camp and Dez will be history . Some seem more in fear of their predictions of Dez ability to be WRONG so they dont want him to get a chance . TEST NOT GUESS!!!

Again how can it hurt to give him a shot in camp . It will make everyone try harder because they know Dez will be doing things in camp that the Vets wont want to take a chance doing.

Dez could come to camp and steal the show . He grew up hard and sees this as his last shot before he starts to head back where he came from . Dez might street ball the heck out of this soft group we got on this team . After watching them all drop passes ,fumble and lose that game to the Eagles they might need a bit of Dez to show them what a bunch of soft players they are .

I never got the love for Dez he was a lazy idiot who had a few good years based on raw talent. Once that raw talent started to fade he fell off big time. If he had worked half as hard as a guy like Irvin then he'd probably still be playing and producing. Don't need the drama for what would be a WR 4 who can't play special teams. As I said before if Dez is serious go play in the XFL prove you got it and knock the rust off stop begging Jerry for a job.

I can't help but notice how the 'Dez decline' almost PERFECTLY MIRRORS the 'Romo decline.'

I'm not convinced it was all Dez. And if this irritates the Dez detractors, well... be irritated. I don't give one flip about that. If Dak has improved his game then he will find a way to utilize the strengths of Dez Bryant. It's not like he would be unduly influenced by the presence of Dez in the huddle anymore. Dak is his own man - he has earned his stripes and will command the huddle as he would with ANY receiver. If Dez has anything to offer it will quickly become apparent. And conversely so if not.

Don't act like we have to shield Dak from Bryant. Geezus... like he's somehow a weaksauce rookie QB. It's laughable.

Maybe you're right, because I'm sure they both would do a better job than Witten.

Rice, for sure, right now, is probably better than Dez... lol
Jim Brown uses a cain, or a walker, so I suspect he could only
be used in short yardage situations.
I agree that, at this point, Witten looks like a fan that was pulled
out of the crowd.

You know for certain his mother smokes crack still? Oh, you possibly can't be a Cowboys fan. My grandmother was 80 in 2012 & knew who Dez Bryant was.

So, you're saying I'm not a true fan because my mom doesn't know who
Dez Bryant is? Some of us don't stick around momma'so house past 18 years of age.

Once a crackhead, always a crackhead. No different than anything else.

I really doubt at this point that Dez is a better NFL player than Cedrick Wilson.
In todays NFL it seems its not about whos better because other than Hopkins on the Texans who is way better than most of whats out there . Its about who is willing to sacrifice their body and risk their payday and who has never gotten paid and has nothing to lose .

That guy Ward on the Eagles beat us with a live for the day attitude . Too many are more interested in protecting what they have instead of playing up to their ability .

Exactly that's what I'm saying. My whole family is/ was Cowboys fans. Most of you people aren't cut from the same cloth as some of us. Some of leave home when it is time & ready to leave. Some of us take in & care of our older family members, & we don't send them to homes for strangers to do it.
Fake news..once a crackhead not always a crackhead. I've seen this on firsthand accounts. So, there is hope for some.

Dez's mom is a crack addict in recovery. Just like an alcoholic that hasn't had a drink in 20 years, for example.
You, on the other hand, might need to check yourself into a mental institution.

The "cloth" you refer to must have a lot of static because you're stilling clinging to your childhood,
afraid to leave home and make your own way. I've seen people like you.

Now, piss off.

I might need to, but that is ok. I'm good regardless. My cloth does have some static, but it is clean. I've made my way, & continue to clear paths for those with & after me.
Imperative statements don't go over well with me. I do believe you are mad, & pissed off. I'm chilling.

People with real jobs don't get to chill on spring break.
When you go back on Monday, ask about getting some English tutoring.

I actually named my kid "Dallas". Can't get more "real fan" than that.

Speaking of that, I'll repeat your thought here.
You think that because a grown man's elderly mother may not know
who Dez Bryant is, he's not a real fan. You claimed that and even doubled
down on it. You must be one ignorant creature.

No, I'm not mad at you, you mental midget. I just think you probably
shouldn't go outside without your stryofoam helmet.

Oh yeah you're mad..crazy how my no real job having, stuck in my childhood living, racecar bed sleeping, momma house staying, future .crazy house residing, English tutor needing, no path having, mental midget minded, styrofoam helmet wearing, ignorant creature being leech got you acting like a teenage girl that someone called ugly..witcho real Dallas Cowboy name calling fan self...haha...
Btw..in all seriousness..no jabs towards your mother..some women don't like football...but you sir have anger issues..Haha..funny lil dude....

So now you're back pedaling... lol
This rediculious back and forth wouldn't have happened, if not
for your insane "real fan" assessment.

Sorry about your dad. I hope your mom is well.

I'll let you in on a secret. My mother knows who Dez Bryant is.
She also watches football but only after church... and only on Sundays.
