100% agree. I feel much better if McClay takes the lead as opposed to Jerry. It does us no good to get another Quincy Carter or Clint Stoerner in here. Let's just keep Jerry out of the draft room and let McClay do his work. I completely agree with your overall concern. Jerry sucks at drafting QBs. Like you said, hopefully he realizes it, but like you I have my concerns. Jerry drafted Quincy Carter and Stephen McGee and then Dak. Safe to say Dak is slam dunk compared to the others. We'll see what happens.
Yeah exactly. We all wish Dak would've made a couple better throws against the 49ers but it didnt happen. So here we are. We just want a guy that makes the throw, especially when he is making 40 million... with that said.. Quincy Carter wasn't ever close to the situation.....so....

I wish Jerry would stop telecommunicating to other teams what we might be targeting. Even worse, what if he's lying and is fully committed to Dak for the long term?

He should just shut up.

Someone start a Jerry Jones regrets not taking Justin Fields rather than the trade down that led to Micah Parsons thread.
Not going to lie. I think we could have traded Dak to Denver for the 9th pick and drafted both but we would have drafted Surtain and Fields.

Draft a qb and let him sit… why not. You can cut dak after June 1st next year and only take an 18 mil hit I think I read on this board.

As much as dak is a good guy…. He gets paid an incredible amount of money. If he is unhappy about it…. It is what it is

Trade this year's 1st 3rd and 5th and next year's 1st to Detroit #6 and get cj stroud if he's still there
You gonna have to get in the top 3 to get these quarterbacks especially with Brady’s retirement. Tampa, Vegas, Houston, Carolina, Washington, Saints, Jets off the top my head need quarterbacks.

Hurts is average. He's basically surrounded by a top flight OL and RG, with great coaching. Their OC was the guy who coached Herbert for half a season his first year and CHargers fans were upset they let go and replaced with Lombardi. Hurts is basically like Dak was his first couple years, except his mediocre skills allowed his team to progress farther than our QBs medioce skills did.
The Eagles have the best roster in the in the NFL in 2022. In 2016 we had the best offensive line and best running back. You have to admit we had an average defense and that was our down fall in the playoffs. Hurts is the 2016 Dak but is a better runner.

Both questionable passers, but like you said, fluidity in running and overall play, such as quicker release, Hurts definitely has the advantage. QBs like Hurts and Dak are not the type of guys you will get consistent franchise play around them.

Hurts was awful last year, especially against us when Quinn was pressing the WRs from the snap and there is nothing impressive about him. There system is maximizing his skill-set, but he will level off quickly IMO and if they give him a huge contract, that will suck for them.
We actually should hope Hurts wins the Super Bowl. The Eagles would have no choice but to give him 50 million a season. The media is already talking about it.

Jerry: We are committed to drafting a qb
Stephen: We are committed to Dak Prescott

Jerry will draft Duggan at 26. Just watch
Jesus H Christ, please don’t put that thought into his brain!!! Don’t want to see Max or Stetson anywhere near the Star in Frisco. Both of those guys are Jerruh picks.

Tyson Bagent. You heard it here first...

Tyson Bagent, Shepherd

Bagent, the Division II superstar who threw more touchdowns (159) than any player in college football history, was not ready for prime time. Or the mid-afternoon, apparently.

He threw two picks in 1-on-1s, missed a wide open Rashee Rice for a touchdown in 7-on-7s, and threw behind a receiver badly in team drills.
