I am almost positive a 6th round pick gets this trade done. I am actually even more surprised because it means that this is now the 2nd time in 2 years that team has traded a 4th round pick for a player that has the value of a 6th round pick.

True.....unless you are already talking to your next head coach sitting at home (lol)
I cant imagine any head coach is going "you know what I want... I want you trade a mid round pick for the backup WR on one of the 4 worst teams in football".

Yall wont like this, but dont be surprised if McCarthy gets a two year extension at the end of the season.

This trade isnt a move you make in a lost season if you plan on cleaning house next year
Then jerry deserves every radio show blow up rant he gives out on a weekly basis.

Then we'll for sure jerry is reaching AL Davis mad mentality in the final years.

I.myself just think cap boy Stephen has much more involvement and turned over football operating matters than what many think.

If that wasn't the case, clown qb johnny Mandell would've been a dallas cowboy at draft time.

Worst GM in the league strikes again lol. Other GM's must love dealing with Jerry.

I really like Mingo's potential and have always thought that he could be a top receiver in the league given a better situation. Now, giving up a 4th-round pick for Carolina's backup WR a week after Baltimore gave up a 6th-round pick (closer to a 7th given Baltimore's record and chances of making a deep run) for Carolina's number one receiver is . I'm hoping that in a year or two, we can all laugh about this thread and how we were all complaining about only having to give up a 4th-round pick for one of the best receivers in the league but I'm not holding my breath. You really can't make this stuff up if you tried, my friends.

Well, here's how the convo went:

Jerry: A 4th? You only want a 4th?
CAR: Yes, that will do it.
Jerry: Will you take a 2nd?
CAR: Huh?
