One thing I would agree on. Sometimes the good defenses will bait him in changing the call. Good thing McCarthy is holding him accountable on it.
This is about O-Line calls, not play calls. Why are so many not grasping that?

If he’s so great at it why has MM took
It from him and put it on the Oline?
Perhaps for the same reason Dak was calling blocking assignments when the center was young and inexperienced. Dak is new to the Gulf Coast Offense© thus McCarthy is limiting him to concentrate on the play and not the blocking. For all we know, those duties may return to him as time goes by.

Assuming why that aspect was removed from his plate is merely speculation. Just like I speculated the reason opposed to yours.

But the burning question I have is this. Why do you feel that you must respond about Dak at every turn? Are you trying to ruin the enjoyment others have about this team? Are you so distraught, you are compelled to make others suffer because you suffer?

What possible reasoning justifies others' excitement about this team which prompts you to toss in negativity at every turn?

Because the only conclusion I can come to about your constant barrage is you are trolling.

The Cowboys kept second-year offensive lineman Tyler Smith on ice last week and were rewarded with tremendous play from Chuma Edoga as a result. The Jets may be down Aaron Rodgers but still boast one of the more ferocious pass rushes across the entire league, so having Smith back in the fold would help. This depth chart does not guarantee anything of course, but it is still nice to see.

Simple answer being it simplifies process and makes Dak Prescott's views more play specific and quicker.

The line made 2.2 second time for pass releases. Very smooth and Dak friendly here.

Generally terrible thread.

I really like what McCarthy has done with the offense. We really don't discuss it much but you know what has usually shot Dallas in the foot for the past 10 to 15 years? Mistakes.
Every decision that you ask people to make is an opportunity for a mistake. Making the O line set up and stay in position forever as players shift around is begging for tons of false starts. Asking both the WR and QB to read the entire defense and adjust the route and throw accordingly in perfect time is begging for mistakes.

If Dallas can manage to score points with this fast paced, simplified offense then this is going to be great.

Per PFF.com:

OFFENSIVE LINE OF THE WEEK: DALLAS COWBOYS

The Cowboys were the only team to rank in the top six in PFF pass-blocking and run-blocking grades this week, with their offensive line allowing four pressures from 25 dropbacks and helping Tony Pollard to average 5.0 yards per carry.
Honestly was pleasantly surprised if we do it again next week my pessimistic view on the line may start to change

There that felt good.

I dont think jerry knows whats what, or why he felt the need to say this, unless he wants dak to look bad?
Another stupid statement by our moronic self centered owner is how I see it.

Link to these statistics?

As soon as he show you links to statistics, you'll then back peddle, lift the goal posts and say statistics don't matter.

It's not even fun intellectually owning you on a regular basis anymore lil guy.

It's disappointing but not surprising that most Cowboy fans on here do not know this is not something most QBs do.

Dak had to do it because they did not trust anyone after fredbeard left.

But please continue with your agendas

You gotta realize that there are alot of low IQ people here that ARE NOT happy to see the Cowboys win and they pose as Cowboys fans.

Again.... I don't have to say any names, their lack of intelligence and cowardly behavior points them out like a neon colored arrow. Notice the individuals who sound triggered after our victories.

They're SOOOO easy to point out.
