Saban is a good college coach and recruiter. BUT. NFL is not his thing. He never played in the NFL. He tried to coach it, he found out he couldn't coach spoiled overpaid pre-madonnas and went back. Simple.

He was an assistant in Cleveland under Bellicheat and failed in Miami. The only reason he got the gig at LSU was because they had PLAX and Duckett on the same squad at MSU. Talent makes you look good, doesn't it?

And why would he leave BAMA? Bama could probably win the NFC East.

I have a better Idea. Just give us Alabama and will give you the Cowboys. You can keep Saban.

He can make them all healthy?

Perhaps Saban won't target with laser-like efficiency draft prospects with established histories of injury? Or would know enough to not overpay aging veterans past their prime? Or would add enough depth that an injury here or there wouldn't devastate the team.

Meaningless conversation, though. A coach with options like Saban isn't coming to Dallas.

Why in the world would we ever go after Nick Saban? Heck, UT could pay him more then we ever could and even then, did we not learn anything from his stint in Miami?

UT could pay him more than Jerry? Tell me, what color is the sky in your world? I realize a lot of you are from Texas and have a lot of pride in the home university, but to suggest that a university, even one as big as UT, could pay a head coach more than the owner of an NFL team that was just valued at more than $2 billion is just silly talk.

UT has a billion dollars of gold sitting in a vault. Doubt Jerry has that.

UT can pay him more then Jerry and it's not even close. In my world, the sky is blue.

Garrett hired a Saban guy Dooley for a WR coach. A lot of what Garrett does is Saban inspired. Firing Garrett wouldn't make Saban want to come to work for Jerry. Loyalty is big.

UTx has the ability to match any coaches pay, and they'd certainly pay more than Jones.

The only time Jones has really opened the pursestrings to hire a HC was when he was trying to get a $600 million gift from the residents of Arlington. Now that he has that, he's under no pressure to hire a big time HC.

No. 1, Saban likes collegiate football where players do what he say not what their agent says.
No. 2, Saban is headed to the Universe of Texas.
No. 3, Saban would rather work for a star-struck AD at Texas rather than Jerra.
No. 4, Saban is know fool. He know he can win a national championship at UT one day. He know he cannot EVER win a Super Bowl with jerra.

If you offer him 10 milliion, he would.

He's already making mega millions. It will never happen. Waste of a thread.

He has massive money, total control, endless winning where he is now. And he's already failed in the NFL. It will never happen.

Why is Saban viewed as some savior?
Do people just forget how bad he was in just one year with Miami?

Seahawks HC wasn't that great his first go-round. I would love Saban! But he'll probably go to U of Texas before he comes here.

Carrol was not that bad, he was elevated to HC of the Jets and they played above their heads until a late slide, he had to follow Bill in NE. He was no better or worse than switzer.

The ginger clapper will be hc here next year. Hes not going anywhere hes just not.

If this happens...

This is when I say we unite as fans, put all our personal difference's aside, lace up our boots, coordinate an attack(maybe even hi jack a plane) and make a move on Jerry and his henchmen.

My fellow fans this would be the straw that broke the camels back, JG returning.
