Simply put, he is unprofessional. The saddest thing about all this is Jerry’s arrogant pettiness cheapens the Ring of Honor. Grudges should never get in the way of doing the right thing for people who accomplished great things for the Cowboys. It’s not about Jerry or any one player or coach. It’s about a storied franchise.
This is exactly the kind of foolishness that has held this franchise back for nearly 3 decades. Jerry’s personal feelings are more important to him than what’s right for this once great organization. He cheapens it every day with this kind of behavior.
Pretty long leash, stretches all the way to Canton, Ohio.Jerry Rules! Keep Jimmy on a leash.....
key words... I don't have a timeline...... Just what I thought he has no timelineJerry won't say "over my dead body", but he may as well be saying it.
WHAT ABOUT THE RING OF HONOR?
“Nothing determined out there at all. That’s something that I’ve never really decided upon almost until a week or two before I do it.”
REALLY?
“Really. No, I’ve never been something that’s had a long tail to it thought process. Obviously the people are qualified are career qualified. So, that is a career process. But as far as the timing of any individual that will ultimately in that Hall of Fame, I don’t have that.”
YOU TALKED ABOUT JIMMY JOHNSON GETTING IN
“I understand that. I really understand that would be a part of the question, but the answer is I don’t have a timeline.”
As the owner my job is to be involved in everything from jocks to socks. I’m the owner, you are nothing more than a paid employee. Can we coexist, sure but as the owner I will make all of the ultimate decisions. Musk is much the same way, involved in every single detail.
Uh, a Momma's Family episode...Pretty long leash, stretches all the way to Canton, Ohio.
Thanks to Jerry's money....Pretty long leash, stretches all the way to Canton, Ohio.
Lol!! And you still support HIS team....Simply put, he is unprofessional.
Lol!! And you still support HIS team....
You can also be a fan of his and not ridicule him every dayYou can dislike Jerry yet still like the Cowboys. They existed for what, 28-29 years before he purchased them. They'll be around after he's dead and gone most likely too. Being a fan of the team doesn't mean you have to support and like the decisions he makes as an owner.
Exactly. Jones demonstrated he can approve and have a Ring of Honor ceremony within three months of announcing it.key words... I don't have a timeline...... Just what I thought he has no timeline

Again, how is Jerry depriving Jimmy Johnson?Exactly. Jones demonstrated he can approve and have a Ring of Honor ceremony within three months of announcing it.
I have seen people with huge egos, having a genuine dislike for someone else, setting aside their feelings momentarily to recognize another's achievements. This particular animosity is not typical. And that uniqueness is worth noting by anyone on the outside looking into the dysfunction.
Lol!! You arr a fan of HIS team, that makes you a fan of his ...like it or not! Go Jerry! Why would I be a fan of the man holding the franchise back? Why would I be a fan of a petty, egotistical blowhard who puts his feelings over what is best for the team?
Or one can also not appreciate the heart of the truth...Why would I be a fan of the man holding the franchise back? Why would I be a fan of a petty, egotistical blowhard who puts his feelings over what is best for the team?

Maybe he'll outlive you....go Jerry! You believe your version, I'll believe reality. I was a fan of the Cowboys before he bought them. I'll probably be a fan after he's dead and buried. Like that or not.
Or one can also not appreciate the heart of the truth...
