We let Ryan go and he took the worse defense in the league to a top 5 defense

Maybe, just maybe, we fans don't know as much as we think we do and should let the people who do it for a living do it. That does include Jerry and STOP listening to us know-it-alls.

No disrespect to the OP, but there are quite a few of us that did not want Zimmer and Ryan out of Dallas. I never wanted Wade as a coach in the first place because the end was highly predictable and played out exactly as scripted.

Since Zimmer is coaching in Cincy, Ryan is coaching in NO. Wade was hired as coach and Jerry is still GM, I would say he completely ignores me.

The best thing that could happen to Jason Garrett is to get the heck out of Dallas and start over where a coach has a chance.

Let me see if I can wrap my brain around what you're saying.

According to you, the Cowboys are mediocre due primarily to Jones' penchant for doing what the fans want (since, obviously, fans are completely monolithic in their opinions), and to rectify the situation, fans should cease all criticism of Jerry Jones?

I never wanted Rob Ryan gone. I always liked him and wanted him to get a shot at HC. Jerry only listens to himself. His ego won't allow him to listen to anyone when it comes to the cowboys. That's why he kept Garrett and let the strong personality guys go. Jerry needs his yes men.

If Jerry listened to the fans, Garrett would be long gone. He had to fire Wade. He lost the team. Jerry can't have his team getting blown out every week. He can't sell it to the public.
