It's never been more clear to me than right now... Jerry doesn't know what to do.

He didn't know what to do in FA. So he did little to nothing.
He didn't know what to do with renewing contracts, so he drug it out and made mistakes.
He didn't know what to do with MM, so he hemmed and hawed until MM got so fed up he just said *** it.
Now he doesn't know what to do with the new HC. And if you are seriously considering the candidates he's interviewed, that is clear!

He is completely lost.

On January 22, 2025, DallasEast had a flashback of March 28, 1994, when Jerry Jones was clueless on not helping run off a two-time defending Super Bowl winning head coach.

deep breathe...long sigh....

assuming all these rumors that have come out in the past 2 years, building up stronger and stronger until today...

Jerry knows exactly what he is doing.

he created an illusion for money.

if Jerry has taught his kids this crap, that the sport should be secondary to money, and creating controversy makes you way more money...nothing is changing when Stephen takes the helm, as his siblings are going to want the cash cow to continue.

since the family is making tons of money in the media, using the Cowboys as the controversy to fill media air time, nothing will change. it will be the same crap "why the hell did he do that" "why why why"

jerry is fielding good teams, but he isnt gonna play GM like the other Clubs....they are strictly about football, Jerry is about money and football....and making dumb decisions on purpose with the Cowboys is how he makes money

all the posts claiming Jerry stupid....are stupid. assuming all this is real

He knows exactly what to do when it comes to finding a new head coach: find a guy who is okay with being a puppet.

Mr Jones knows EXACTLY he's doing.

He's not "taking his time" as some have suggested. He running out the clock letting all the most coveted coaches get signed and his not even interviewing Ben Johnson or Vrabel proves that point.

He's done the exact same thing with free agency last season and "all in" turned onto spending the LEAST amount in FA.

Let's not get this get twisted by thinking that Jerry is being "thoughtful" in selecting a HC......he's merely trying to find the most docile, inexperienced person that won't question him in any way.

Prepare to be underwhelmed

Yup. He only knows how to sign stars to huge contracts. Everything else about the NFL escapes him. Betcha a nickel he has no idea why Mazi isn't working out.

So fans wanted MM gone.
They got what they wanted.

Now Jerry is taking his time to hire the next HC. Rather fans will agree with that decision or not. Most will not, only so they can complain about Jerry.

Now it is taking longer than many fans like, so they complain Jerry doesn't care or know what to do.

Fans are fickle. :lmao:
I still do not comprehend fans screaming for MM's exit. Just casual fans whining about the HC and QB, I guess.

he doesnt want that...a clean team is boring to the bottom line numbers. he would literally rather have Ronald McDonald, in full make up and costume holding a clipboard on the sideline, than a winning coach.

its pretty obvious, if all these strong rumors the past year about Jerry are true. weird that a bunch of people know everything about Jerry and just started the truth drip last year. weird to me.

His choices at HC are about as appealing as the shirts you see on clearance at Ross and Marshalls.

He eventually wants to hire Jason W.

if all this is true, all the agents know its true...which means all the players know it...

without wasting time with a bunch of "you go where you get drafted" lame talk...

Eli said he wasnt getting on the field for certain teams, Deion has informed teams about Shedeur too.

So...dont try and talk it off with lame excuses wasting time...

Why would players not say "screw playing for the Cowboys if they arent trying to win?" Because of media deals that maybe 4 guys make money off of?

CeeDee looks visibly frustrated on the field. That doesnt propagate throughout the league?

Something doesnt make sense. Im over hearing about the hive-mind lies.

The whole story caved on itself. Assuming its all real and true.

This means Romo at OC doesnt it?

Dont know if I have read that yet.

They were besties. Would Romo leave a plush job to get the competitive juices flowing? His voice will be on hospice if he starts coaching and having to yell. i dont think he is a yeller, though.

The players know it all starts and ends with Jerry. He undermines all his coaches.

I doubt that Romo would coach.
