..24' was getting back at McCarthy. For tripping the server over and spilling main entree'.
25' year 2 of getting back at Mike for walking out of his contract negotiation and show him anyone can coach this team?

Hire a current or former assistant: Check
Put Witten on the staff: Check
Send a Christmas card wishing it was different: Check.

Frankly I don't know if Mike is as hot of a Coaching candidate that he or is agent may think. Maybe Jones and McCarthy just needed each other?

Coach, you're the one person I would have positively thought against incentive contracts.

Too many things the head coach can't control. I wouldn't take any job where my financial interest is tied to others availability and performance.

One bad call by a zebra (Dez catch( would cost me big time.

Players are paid no matter how they perform; coaches should be too.
That's all true...personal experience....I had a one year contract when I started, I won and started getting offers and they gave me a 3 year, automatic yearly renewal....I know that's only HS, but I felt good about having earned that. But, again, you are right, that won't happen in NFL or NCAA.

It's never been more clear to me than right now... Jerry doesn't know what to do.

He didn't know what to do in FA. So he did little to nothing.
He didn't know what to do with renewing contracts, so he drug it out and made mistakes.
He didn't know what to do with MM, so he hemmed and hawed until MM got so fed up he just said *** it.
Now he doesn't know what to do with the new HC. And if you are seriously considering the candidates he's interviewed, that is clear!

He is completely lost.
I think this is so untrue. All of it. He knows exactly what he’s doing. We just don’t like it or understand it.

Yup. Columbus had no idea he'd discovered a "new world". He died thinking he'd discovered a new route to India.
It wasn’t even Columbus. It was The Spanish guy named Amica boss Fucci. However, you spell it just so you know.

Jerry actually did fire him thats on record, Jimmy did respond to "500 coaches could coach this team" with "I could coach somewhere elese" but make no mistake Jerry fired Jimmy

Jerry is looking for desperate or cheap coaches. Nobody else wants to talk to him.
Players are gonna start demanding trades, if all this is true.

Jerry's must have NDA's with every player. Ceedeee is visibly upset on the field for 2 years.

Something doesn't add up

Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson mutually agreed to part ways as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in March 1994. The split was due to their growing inability to work together.

Explanation Background.

Jones was the general manager of the Cowboys, but delegated control over on-field matters to Johnson. Jones wanted more authority over the football side of the operation, but Johnson was unwilling to give it up. the split.

Sounds fine if you're the one making the decisions. In Dallas your performance is tied to Jerry's performance.

Imagine signing an incentive deal with Jerry and then he goes out gives you Dak and a busted up RB and does nothing in free agency to improve the team...
Right….which is why he is down to people like Brian Schottenheimer.

Either as a has been/retread, or someone who no one else would give a HC job to….that’s the only person who would accept this job.

Routinely outcoached in big games.

Then Jerry has the nerve to blame the coaches themselves for not pulling off miracles.

correct and thats not mutual because the owner told the HC you are no longer the HC because you wont do it my way...Jimmy never quit per him.

And he’s lied about other things, and he admits to cheating. Jimmy quit.

Jim resigned . So maybe it’s not the word quit, but he was never never fired.
