iI there is a recognizable "void" then you can't fill it with a single player. You would be just one play away from that same void.

This is why a situation like this must be addressed with both the draft and free agency. A void means that you basically have nothing there.

Believe me when I tell you, I'm no Jerry fan. I think he's a narcissistic, stubborn winner of the Dunning Kruger award... annually. But just watching him in the booth, it's obvious that he wants to win. He just wants to do it his way, and being a narcissist, doesn't understand the concept that he's doing it wrong.
