Nothingwhat is he expected to say?
I'm not going to win, already know on here......but can I interest you in Market Value and GM?Has nothing to do with being highest paid. The output vs cost doesn't make any sense.
Interesting...Usually "Jr.'s" are a parents first born son. Oh well. Even the Jones' couldn't get that right!!The birth order is Stephen (June 21, 1964), Charlotte (July 26, 1966) and Jerry Jr. (September 27, 1969).
QBs make a ton.I'm not going to win, already know on here......but can I interest you in Market Value and GM?
Tua Tagovailoa? Trevor Lawrence?, Justin Herbert?....output vs cost? And injuries too. No outcry like Dak and haven't sniffed further than Dak (just Herbert).
Josh Allen, frontrunner for MVP, should get a change in contract soon....watch. Any outcry if he does $60+? Hasn't won anything, like Lamar. Only Jalen Hurts, Jared Goff and Joe Burrows been to the SB....and lost, but they money is good.
And when you say output vs cost......they don't get all the blame when coming up short, as if they were good MLB pitchers with bad relief pitchers. The narrative goes to other areas.
This isn't a Dak PSA .....but CaptainAmerica12, could you explain output vs cost to me? Let's leave Cooper Rush out of this.
On Dak's side (assumption of course).....Raiders, Tennessee maybe......just to get past trade clause.....Atlanta before the Kirk Cousin deal and Pennix draft.I would like to hear about the analysis that went into re-signing Dak and what comparisons were made to instead going after other FA QBs.
Even, Squirrel for brains, Jerry can't believe himself on this oneTo Jerry:
Can't argue that Sydla. You nail various points that are worthy, Herbert is the one that "potential" is always attached. Point is.....there is risk to all......everyone, outside of Hurts, Lamar, Herbert, or Josh Allen has been with a major injury or two, but recovered. But none of them has been catisgated like 31 year old Dak or left with the required "perfect & flawless" mandate. It's next man up due to market value......nature of the business.QBs make a ton.
I think one can argue most, if not all, are overpaid. But take a guy like Herbert. Similar guaranteed money, but lower AAV as Dak. Is he worth that money? Who knows but in comparison, he's a much smarter investment than Dak at this point. Better physical traits, higher ceiling, only 25, less wear and tear, lacks the injury history of Dak. Herbert may not ever win a thing but at this point in time, he's looking like a smarter investment than Dak at the QB position.
