He's an idiot. And if you had any questions about that up until this point, this should solidify it.

If you were just going to make him one the highest paid QB in terms of AAV, there was no reason to wait. I'd buy the argument if you waited and you got Dak to eventually cave a bit and he took less but he didn't. You made him the highest AAV in league history.

If you signed him early you could have had a bit more cap space to maybe bring in a Derrick Henry or a playmaking DT.

This franchise is done. Just done. Every time Jerry opens his mouth and talks it pretty much solidifies the reality that this franchise isn't winning anything as long as he is alive and frankly, might not with his son who appears to be as a big a fool as his dad.
He's just such an incredibly dumb GM.

I can't wait until a Josh Allen gets his new contract, just to remove "the highest paid" cloud. This topic has consumed our fanbase and completely blinded the truth about dysfunction, beyond QB salary.

We have the only GM that can't get fired......we have the oldest GM in the league......our Owner/GM has a radio show.........let that sink in.
We have the oldest GM in NFL history. The next oldest GM in the NFL is Jacksonville’s Trent Baalke who is 60. If Stephen Jones took over tomorrow as Jerry’s successor, at 60 he would be tied with Baalke as the oldest GM in the NFL.

The Jones boys are lazy, old, out of touch, and worst, they are unaccountable for failure.
