Jerry doesnt want Prescott running

What else can Jerry say? He's too heavily invested in Dak to say anything else. Dak is currently making more than half of the entire defense combined.

Dak literally has no incentive to care.

He constantly fails upward.
The notion that Dak falls short because he doesn't care seems ludicrous to me. It seems like a misplaced need to harbor ill will toward him.

it seems much more likely that it is not an effort or character issue, just a limit to how far his traits as an NFL QB can carry him and the team

I've reached the point with Jerry's comments that I now strongly support a Jerry Jones filter.

Lucky for Dallas that Dak is an elite pocket passer with deadly downfield precision, great timing, vision, and anticipation.

(internet sarcasm disclaimer)

Dak needs to work on his speed cause he is slow as ****!

SPEED!

Dak runs like a 45 year old. He was a good runner until the injury. He’s lost at least 2-3 steps from where he was prior to the injury. I miss that part of his game. He scored 24 rushing TDs prior to the injury. He’s only scored 5 rushing TDs since the injury.

Jerry thinks taking a sack is more productive than running and it's both: He can't run, but he also can.

I was always pretty much indifferent on the endless Prescott arguments, but when I see things like this, as well as look at the structure of that contract with the void years, I realize that this franchise is probably screwed for what’s probably going to be close to another decade…at least.

Before long the only enjoyment will be watching Jerry make a total fool of himself…pushing 90 and still trying to prove he is a “football guy.” What a child.

Oh well, I had my day. Entitled ego boy stole it from ever happening again. ‘It’s either my way or no way’ is a really crappy way to treat fans who lined his pockets and were around long before he was.

In July of this year Dak was wearing a boot and said he was doing so because of soreness in his broken foot. I wonder if the injury is still lingering for him?

Having a QB who can scramble for the first down is an important element to have to threaten defences to cover everyone and all areas of the field. It stretches and stresses the defence.

What a stat, nice find!!

Doesn’t want anyone to see him try to run because then they’ll ask “what in the hell were you thinking giving him all that money when he can’t hardly move?”

Last season it looked to me that Dak was largely back athletically. He was an older running QB, and he's never been fast, but he could still run.

This year, I keep hearing people say that it looks like Dak can't run. I've been missing games. Does he look off?

So, Jerry gave him the highest contract in NFL history and now forbids him to use an important dimension of his game?

Jerry gave him that money based on his ability as a pure passer?

Jerry, you wanna protect your QB from injury? How about a freakin' running attack? What about an offensive line that didn't have to start two rookies?

What should he do if he can't stay behind the line without being subdivided by pair of DE's?
This! :hammer:

Jerry is the reason for this season's misery.
