Only a fool wouldn’t support big Mike after ten years of Garrett! I’m still on cloud nine after his firing
It’s because Jerry hired him and he’s overweight.Never understood the criticism of McCarthy. He has done a great job with this team.
So, praising the head coach of your 2-0 team is bad. He’s setting Coach up for the fall if it turns .
It’s amazing how our ownership just can’t Shut up .
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones praised head coach Mike McCarthy several times after the game last night. “I can’t say enough about how Mike has prepared this team the last two weeks, how he came out of training camp. I give him an extraordinary amount of credit here. He’s doing a great job leading that coaching staff, but he’s the busiest man in North Texas because he’s calling the plays, doing the offense plus doing the coaching. … Y’all give him his due here. He’s got a lot to do with how these two games have come out.”
Jones also joked multiple times about Tony Pollard getting carries late in the fourth quarter. Jerry laughing: “Well, we’ve got to have something to criticize.”
I think Sean Payton is a fine coach. But he is not so much better than mcCarthy that he is worth giving picks up.I breathed a huge sigh of relief when they didn't trade picks for Payton. He's a product of Drew Brees. Otherwise, he's just another head coach.
I agree. You don't win the Kentucky Derby on a donkey.Another great example it’s all about the talent.
Yes, good coaching can optimize talent and most of all gather talent but it starts with the talent.
It’s why most coaches don’t have the same level of success at all venues.

It’s not all about talent! Your second sentence contradicts your first sentence.Another great example it’s all about the talent.

So true!Nice to see an actual coach here!!! After a decade that felt like a century they could've replaced Garrett with Rowdy and I would've been OK with it.
So true!
Garrett never out schemed anyone. McCarthy does it consistently. A big reason why CD is getting so many catches is big Mike scheming him open.
He's like 30 other guys.I think Sean Payton is a fine coach. But he is not so much better than mcCarthy that he is worth giving picks up.
That's pretty funny. At least he's still perceptive enough to know the reality of his team, and its fans. I'm definitely willing to give McCarthy his credit. I just wanted to see him run a top offense, and he's doing just that, which tells us the problem is likely not the typical scapegoat fans like to parrot incessantly.Jerry laughing: “Well, we’ve got to have something to criticize.”
Stop. I will never understand this. It's not like whether you giving credit or not matters. Your dissatisfaction makes no difference to anyone but yourself, and your state of mind. If you want to be negative, you get to wallow in it.Too soon. We have been here at 2-0 many many times over the years.
