If either of those two guys are sitting there at 16 and we take CJ Mosley instead.............................wow.

I would too be pretty upset about that.. Mosley seems like a solid player so I am sure he would help improve the LB corps but I think safety is more of a need and I also think Pryor and Clinton Dix have higher upsides.. I would like to see us get a veteran LB in FA and let him get in the mix with Lee, Carter, Holloman, Wilber etc.. I think with those guys we can get it done but when I look at what we have at safety I see no possible way with the current group that we can be anything better than average there. Church is average and Wilcox and Heath have flashes of being average lol.. Need to get someone in here with serious skills at safety who makes QB's think twice about launching the ball up against us

BPA on defense and I'll be happy. Gotta build for the future, not just next season. Dallas can't fix this in one offseason, so just take the guy who you feel has the best shot to be an all pro type player for the next decade. If thats a LB, so be it.

Exactly the point I made. Because the guy isnt a complete embarrassment (looking at you Jeff Heath) he gets held in a much higher regard than he actually deserves.

You need to go have another look at Church's numbers if you believe he's unathlethic. What you mean to say is you don't like his 40 time and you've based all your opinions of his athleticism on that alone.

Yes, his other measurables are really good. His 3-cone was terrific.

I think if Church was surrounded with talent like Kam Chancellor in Seattle, that he would be a good Safety. If Chancellor was on the Dallas defense, he wouldn't have been any better than Church, IMO.

They need a upgrade at safety. Was disappointed when I watched this interview.. Safety should absolutely be in play in round 1

Gonna be a long season

oh heck yes...I can FEEL 3-5 wins this season. We are circling the drain. Jones continued mis mgmt. will come home to roost this season. Maybe this is what it takes for him to hire a real GM. If so, we'll just have to suffer through it. Pains me to write it, but it's the God's honest truth.

Barry Church is awful. He doesnt get near the ball. He was ranked something like the 49th safety in the league by PFF.

He is Keith Davis without the bullet magnet.
