I think he has a rude awakening because I don’t see this team winning more than 8 games this upcoming season.

We won 7 games this year with many of our stars out to injury including QB.

Being in the playoff hunt is enough for our owner. Regardless if we aren’t serious SB contenders.

Yeap! Jerry thinks as long as you get into the playoffs you have a shot. I think Jerry still remembers those 2 years when the giants won their Super Bowls. They just barely got into the playoffs both years and then got hot and beat the patriots both times. The 18-0 team too. Those teams had a dominant pass rush and a tough coach in Tom Coughlin. We have a country club type atmosphere so when it’s time to play smash mouth football or if we face any diversity, we fold like a cheap lawn chair.
I think it will be tough for this team to win 8 games this upcoming season because the eagles are the best team in football, the commanders are on the way up and we cannot expect to keep on sweeping the giants years after year. It used to be almost a guarantee to get at least 6 wins in the NFC East. Those days are over.
I just don’t like the direction this team is heading either with a GM/owner who is getting more erratic and senile as the days go on.

So true and so sad.

You can look at each team who got to the super bowl w/ a lesser record and it's easy to see how they got there. Biggest example is the 2007 Giants w/ a 10-6 record. Sooooo, how did they get there? A completely dominant DLine that held every opponent in the playoffs to under 21 points. And rendered the high flying Pats' O almost completely ineffective at 14 points. Want to know how? Absolutely ferocious pass rush that rendered Brady ineffective, sacking him 5 times and hitting him multiple times.

Exactly what dominant aspect have we ever had on our Jerry-built teams that would render other playoff teams ineffective? Answer: We don't, and never do. Jerry simply thinks we can outscore the other team. That philosophy only works during the regular season when you're playing JAX and NYG.

Well, I'm one of the few who thinks Stephanie will be better than Dad. He has said he will hire a GM, hope he's not lying.

Plus, I think Stephanie is only doing this because his Dad wants him to. I see him stepping out as soon as his Dad is out of the pic.

He's not nearly as fixated on winning the SB as he is for selling his brand and making tons of money.
