That’s my predicted RB trio, with Luepke at fullback....welp, there you have it. I guess Zeke, Deuss, TP tandem for 23'. I cant wait.... ..
Jerry can’t quit Zeke like you can’t quit me.That's bs, they certainly could go either way with him and having a reliable short yardage back isn't a thorn in the side.
Except the Super Bowl winning part.Jerry has a hard time letting go of the past.
They won’t. People just haven’t accepted the fact that Jerry is just a figurehead at this point; many still actually think he has a real personnel say.I can’t remember an example of a team cutting a player, getting hit with dead cap from the contract, and then re-signing that player in the same off-season.
Why would we do this? He refused to re-do his deal, so now that we’ve taken the dead cap hit and his camp realizes he has no market, we’re going to shell out more money to him?
Make it make sense.
RidiculousJerry can’t quit Zeke like you can’t quit me.
Jerry can’t quit Zeke like you can’t quit me.
The short in short yardage doesn't refer to the size of the player.Deuce Vaughn would be my short yardage/goal line back.
That would be terrible....welp, there you have it. I guess Zeke, Deuss, TP tandem for 23'. I cant wait.... ..
A lot of fans just latch onto "sound bites" without any evidence to back them up. It can be a statistic like averaging 3.8 YPC to determine that a back isn't good for anything. Never mind the amount of short-yardage and TD success, which does have value. The guy that can’t make the big play moved the chains in a lot of critical situations and punched the ball in the endzone 12 times last year. If we can’t pick up a yard or two in critical 3rd and 4th down situations and near the goal line, it’s going to lead to problems. We added a WR threat in Brandin Cooks but we have a lot of uncertainty with our short yardage backs and who knows if any of them can block. For those who think Zeke didn’t provide any value weren’t watching the games.
Just one? I admire your restraint. One kick for each nut
Thanks Jerr

Amazing how many so called 'smart posters (they have to be that since they proclaim it themselves) do not understand Jerry still has the final say on things. They won’t. People just haven’t accepted the fact that Jerry is just a figurehead at this point; many still actually think he has a real personnel say.
SJ, McClay, and Mike kinda just let him talk and feel like he’s making decisions. But behind closed doors this hasn’t been a Jerry Jones behaving front office in years.
Think about all the stuff he says (Odell) and how little of it actually happens. Think about how everyone says Jerry loves making splash moves yet we haven’t made a splash move in years.
Jones loves Elliott like a son, therefore he’s always going to make it seem like there’s a spot for him. He won’t ever say he’s done here because that’s how tight he feels they are. Does not mean in the slightest bit that he gets re-signed.
Also, they already gave his number away to someone guaranteed to make the team (Gilmore). Seems like the actual decision makers have moved on.
He will have to scenic route To EZ .Deuce Vaughn would be my short yardage/goal line back.
