That's not true at all my friend. You may not be a fan of reading but I encourage you to read the CBA. It gives the designated commissioner widespread authority and latitude to act independently of any of the owners. He doesn't have god powers like some folks want to have us believe but he is powerful. They just need the right person in that position and I don't think it is Roger the Clown.

NFLPA shoud've never signed that.

just heard it on espn sunday countdown

Dont think he gets it. Too much negative press. However the onky bottom line will be and always be is how much money he makes the owners. So if the current crap going on really effects ratings and ticket sales he will ne dealt with. But it the bottom line stays the same or grows he will get hos extension.

The players were never going to get everything they wanted so in order to get what was most import to them at the time they made some concessions. By the way, there was no actual NFLPA when the CBA was agreed to. Remember the players union was dissolved until after the main sticking points of the CBA were agreed to. The players had to have a vote to reestablish the NFLPA and it was only then that the union finished the negotiations on that deal... that's when things like article 46 were added.

Owners don't want their brand tarnished any further. They are already dealing with fallout from deflategate, concussiongate, knockedmyfianceoutoncamerabutgotofflitegate, Zekegate, kneelforanthemgate, blacklistkneelersgate, not to mention incompetent refs, a declining on field product, the erosion of the fan experience due to fantasy football and a growing societal impression that football might just be too dangerous to play. The question is whether or not getting rid of Goodell helps or compunds the image problem?

But with all these problems, anyone thinking that just getting rid of Goodell will magically restore the integrity of the game and the NFL product should think again.

You ever fought for your country making diddle pay

All Jerry has to do is point to declining tv ratings and the bumbling way Goodell handles player disciplinary issues. Jerry is the most powerful man in the NFL. You don't want him as an enemy. I love it!

I agree with JJ because not I am cowboys fan, but Goodel doesn't understand the his actions are destroying the product, the stars are what makes games interesting, doesn't mean you don't punish them for wrongful actions, but going above and beyond the law and acting like dictator is not helping the product. David Stern knew MJ gambled, but he wouldn't poke him and suspend him for stuff like that, he knew stars made NBA
