Ya,no doubt!
As I recall reading hinted 'blurts' about forcing him to sell his franchise being floated

*but SHEESE! FOOTBALL DaD has every right in his emotional feelings of betrayal, which only naturally morphs straight to PISSED-OFFDOM,,,

* it's pretty certain to me,that this #21 ingrate, has much deeper running problems in his A.O. than just this current display of ingratitude

The Fan reported that Jerry was completed caught off guard by the Zeke holdout and is severely ticked off.

They pointed to the amount of support the team had given settle in numerous off-field issues, including perhaps some we don't know about.

This could get pretty ugly.
He shouldn’t have been caught off guard but I can see why he would be upset after all the team has done for him with his off the field crap. However I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, #21 will be in the starting lineup opening day.

He has all the leverage the offense runs through him.
I don’t think so....the offense runs through the OL. Zeke is a great back, but you don’t win in this league without the passing game, big plays, and defense. Plus, he may think he has leverage, but Jerry cannot and will not set the terrible precedent of allowing a guy with multiple years left on his contract to hold the team hostage.

He's so po'd that he made him a offer. Please. Jerry is a businessman and knows this is business. If Jerry didn't see this coming then he really must think these are his children or owns them.

Elliott also has the "straw that stirs the drink" nonsense from the main guy in charge of contracts.

The Joneses are the worst in terms of establishing leverage.
Stephen Jones in May: "He's the straw that stirs our drink."

Jerry Jones in July: "Our drink doesn't need to be stirred," basically.

This DAL roster is Zeke dependent. The offense runs through him. Was it smart to build the team around him? That’s another issue but it is built around him. That’s why he has leverage. If they had 3 stud WRs, great TE & top tier QB, they could call his bluff. They don’t. Per Daniel Jeremiah today

Totally agree. You can’t invest 4th overall pick in Zeke, create offense where he produces two NFL rushing titles and then claim you don’t need a great running back. Per Ed Werder today

While Jerry Jones is technically correct ...you don't need a rushing title RB to win the Super Bowl.. HIS team DOES. As the GM of Dallas.. he has built his team around Zeke being Zeke. Everything flows thru him. Per Wingo today.

Not to mention the former players on NFL right now saying the same thing.
