watching and Thinking how he let the guy who should've been the next HC get away. Quick, fire Parcells before another good young candidate gets away!

NO one thought that Payton would be THIS good.

Exactly....Yawn...He almost cost the game with that stupid pitch to Reggie Bush....I am happy for him, but a little bit surprised that they can't hang more than 27 points on a Eagle defense that isn't that great.

Zimmer will do better next year no doubt. He is running the defense that he knows.

But still, it was a risky call and almost back fired on him. Just like when he ran that reverse against us, but made it.

:laugh2: He's got an overachieving team in the NFC championship. Parcells' underachieving team is home watching.

Checkmate.

can't hang more than 27 points on that sorry eagles defense. i don't think we scored 27 points combined in the 2 games we played against philly this year.

Give him credit. Hes the one who drafted gems like Marques Colston and Jahri Evans.

and its not like Drew Brees was some passing monster before he came to NO. He was coming of an injured shoulder and he was a decent starter,

Maybe Paytons excellent offensive schemes glorified Drew Brees. He was never this good in his 5 years with San Diego.

It's called coaching & game planning to your players skills & strengths.......Some coaches can do...some can't.

Look the bottom line is this. Yes, I am happy for the Saints and Peyton, but we got to remember that this is one season as head coach for him. People talking about he is better than Parcells, we let him get a way from us. He wasn't even in contention for a head coaching for the Cowboys.

Now we can also argue that he wasn't in contention for a head coaching job until he starting coaching with Parcells. Yes he had a bite in the past, but remember, he was stripped of his play calling duties as the O coordinator for the Giants. So people need to stop jumping on the band wagon until he actually proves himself for a couple of years.....ie....see Jim Mora Jr...

What is frustrating is a guy like Fujita - who was nothing special in Dallas - looks more energetic and better than any of our LBs not named Ware.
