They beat the Giants 40 to 0. That's not playing well?
My take: on the road against teams in the division we are fine (which is why I’d love to go to Philly again for the postseason.

It’s the out of division, unfamiliar places which we absolutely never show up.

We have road issues

But if Scantling catches a routine pass the eagles would also have 4 road losses. They just only focus on our road woes

First of all...they played in the same weather. Secondly...it didn't start raining to the 2nd half...Screw Jerry! He's the reason for our season.
Buffalo is made for that weather and is used to playing in it.

They're 3-4 on the road. Two of those losses were in Arizona and Santa Clara. It's not the weather.
The Arizona game we were still running the Dak and Dunk offense, the same with the 49ers but they are also just better than us.

Right now we can take on any team in the Playoffs, SF would be the outlier for us. I really think that SF is our barrier to the SB.
I'm not really worried about the 49ers, if we play them in the NFCCG I'd feel rather confident playing them. They've beat us 3 times in a row with the last one being a blowout, they come in overconfident and would probably use the same game plan that they've used before. All the pressure would be on them, I mean they've won 3 times in a row no one would expect us to even give them a game. I like us as a heavy underdog in that situation, remember we changed our offense after getting blown out by them.

It was in the 40’s, for Buffalo that is like 80’s in Florida in December. We just got punched in the mouth, we got beat up physically and mentally.
The 40s may be like 80s for people that live in Buffalo but for people that live in Texas 40s feel like 40s plus wind and a driving rain. When was the last time a dome team went into that situation and were successful, they may be some but most fail.

My brother use to coach in Buffalo and the 40’s should not have been an issue. I went to games there and it was brutal as h—- (I wished it was in the 40’s sitting outside). Not all of these guys on this team played college ball at University of Hawaii in pleasant conditions.

We have to face it we are a dome team and dome teams don’t play well in inclement weather conditions. Wind, rain and cold temperatures don’t lend well to passing teams and that’s what we are. I went back to the NFL teams that played in domes who has made the super bowl and charted their playoff performance and it proved to be interesting. The domed teams played 20 total playoff games, of those games 16 were played at home, 2 were played away in domes (1999 Atl @ Vikings, 2018 rams @ N.O.) and 2 were played away outside (2006 colts @ ravens, 2022 rams @ TB).

The Cowboys offense is what sets the table for the defense (which is pretty much what all the successful dome teams before them have done). The Cowboys want to get a lead and make the other teams offense become a one dimensional pass offense and that’s where the sacks, ints and fumbles come from.

Due to the wind and the rain the offense was never able to get untracked so the Bills were able to stick with the punishing run game that we are not built to stop.

This is why it is imperative that we get the number 2 seed to have 2 games at home and then play SF in the NFCCG in SF where the weather won’t be much of a factor.
Then we are doomed.
The best teams in the NFC all play outside and we can't seem to get home field advantage for the playoffs

Yeah you forgot to mention the rain, why do you think that no dome team has won an inclement weather playoff game?

We are soft.
The opposition plays in the same weather.
This is a sorry excuse for failure.
Yeah the opposition is used to playing in that weather, y'all getting all worked up over this loss which is saw coming a mile away. You are right were are a finesse team just like all dome teams, name me one grimey hard nosed dome team? Even the ones that have won SBs have been finesse we are no different. Manning's Colts, Brees Saints, Warner's Rams all finesse teams and we are no different.

If we need perfect weather to play well then we’re not a good team.
