Jerry Jones: “Tony played the best game of his career.”

What did he say about the Defense and Garrett's performance???

That silence will be deafening.

Agree with you there, that is an indictment of your head coach or at least your DC.....when your QB plays lights out and you still lose, then WHO is accountable Jerry?

Romo's in for a long week. Because people will simply ignore the defense's performance. 500-plus yards, five touchdowns, and 48 points, and Romo choked? Yeah, okay.
To be fair the defense generated two turnovers. More than the rest of the league has mustered against them.

Or he, you know...throws an INT like he also did in the game......

different scenario on that pick; if you rewatch the play, Murray was wide open. Peyton does not miss that. It's not even debatable that Peyton is a better qb and has better vision and better decision making.

Not a different scenario. The game was over at the half and Peyton threw the INT that got us right back into it.

Romo played great but yes he choked in the end.

Romo is judged in the clutch moments of games and he once again showed why he has the perception that he does.

Exactly. He did play one of the best games ever for his career but at the end he threw it all away with a turnover that everyone for some odd reason
was expecting. As good as he played, this wasn't his best game. He has had other games that he played well and didn't choke at the end.

if the scenario was the same who was the open Bronco receiver on that play?

with this team in big games Romo has to be perfect or we lose. What is wrong with this picture?

And this is the bottom line. Romo has to have the best game in history every time for us to stand a chance against really good teams. Romo's day today should have been an absolute obliteration of the opponent. Instead, we lost.

25/36
506 passing yards
5 TD passes
1 BIG Int

QB rating: 151.6

He played a great game, bad decision at the end, but overall an excellent performance.

I think Jerruh added: "I love owning this team and suckering fans in to giving me their hard earned money while I run this thing in to the ground...after all, if this was one of my oil companies changes would be made at the top...but not here..."

Its been like that since..... ever.

Romo's fault. Get with the program. Real teams have perfect QB play all the time and that is how they win. Real teams never have to rely on other players to win. They just ride their QB to victory after victory without falter because their QBs never falter.

Jerry Jones: "This is a morale victory. It’s not a loser talking here. It’s just this has a lot of the feelings of a victory with it."

Seriously? And people wonder why this team hasnt done anything in going on two decades.

Romo played like his gunslinger days. He was throwing the long ball accurately, escaping. I wonder if it was just for today based on Broncos D.
Romo had his usual escapability and deep accuracy today because he's now fully recovered from his injury. This was reported by Ed Werder before the game I believe.

Peyton makes the throw to the RB there, not the covered TE, and Tony needs to fine tune his thinking on 2nd and long there. He didn't need to try to force that throw in there, and should have realized that the LB may recognize the play as he had run it before.

A great game overall though.

You mean like Peyton did against the Ravens last year?

He'll go back to conservative because he's going to be ripped apart by the media and the fan base for making 1 bad decision in the game.

I find it hilarious that even in his best game ever he chokes.
