Jerry Jones: “Tony played the best game of his career.”

Are u saying Elway never lost big games?

I am saying Elway won alot of playoff games before he won the SB and led alot of 4th quarter QBs over the years with alot of mediocre talent around him. Comparing Romo to John Elway is like comparing Janet Reno to Kate Upton. If you cant see that, it isnt my problem.

Romo was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

No one...NO ONE...thought we would be in that position before the game started. There is one reason and one reason only this team put up 48 against what some consider the best team in the league.

Romo. Period. End of discussion.

Who cares? Denver isn't known for their prolific defense. Who on this forum didn't know we would need at least 30 to win this game? Denver's D is average at best and that's what we were supposed to to to them, like every other team we play. Every week you'll throw out stats to back up why #9 isn't at fault and none of them matter because their isn't a stat for charisma, shining in the moment. The guy just doesn't have it. Accept it. I'm trying really hard to right now.

I think comparing a QB who escaped so much pressure to throw for 500 yes and 5 TDs is a compliment to Elway as well as Romo. Enjoy the positives.

Romo does stupid crap at the worst possible moment. He plays fine otherwise. He's like a Cy young pitcher that needs a closer instead of losing his 1-0 masterpiece in the 9th....

25/36
506 passing yards
5 TD passes
1 BIG Int

QB rating: 151.6

He played a great game, bad decision at the end, but overall an excellent performance.

Sounds like famous last words to me.

Statistically, Romo has always been very good; just not clutch.

The fact that no matter how good Romo plays, some will find fault was never more evident than it is today.

I like Romo but I am not the biggest Romo fan, not even close. As a matter of fact I just told my wife yesterday that I don't think we will win a SB with Romo.

But you people that always seem to find fault with him have picked the wrong day to do so.
You will have to wait for another day or pick one in the past.

Any QB at any level that throws for over 500 yds, and 5 TD's, .. puts up 48 points with a QB rating of over 150 should NEVER lose that game.
Plus his scrambling and buying time was huge today, ... for first downs and the Witten touchdown. Manning nor Brady would have survived behing our OL today.

It is never one play or one players fault. Especially in a sport where there are 22 guys running around every play for 60 minutes.

Wilson and Brady both threw picks to end their teams chances at the end.

It's not like Romo is the first or the only one to ever do this.

Our defense, or DC, are the reason we lost this game today.

48 points should never lose.

But go on and ignore the obvious, and just blame Romo.

Really, I would not care if TR threw for 800 yards today. WE LOST. That's all that matters to me.

Yeah, I just made the same comment somewhere else basically. If this game is good for something, it's for the light it shines on who's being sincere and who's trying to lead a parade dedicated to proving himself right.

It is not true that nobody thought we could beat Denver. There some who believed we could play with Denver and perhaps, if we could win the TO battle, win.

I too am proud of Romo. Im really glad his our QB. At the end I thought we should have ran the ball a little since they changed up into a zone. But no. Garrett doesn't like to change things up.

I think Romo's best game was the Bills game. The one where he threw 5INTs but came back to win it for us in the end. Not making that up, just one that stands out in my head.

How? Because his throwing motion was clearly disrupted and he couldn't follow thru on the pass that was picked? OK gotcha.
The guy he was throwing to had double coverage and a third guy made the pick. He made a blind throw due to pressure, and it's not the first or last time.

He is his own worst enemy. He's had countless opportunities to break the choker moniker he's gotten over the years but he just keeps given his haters fuel.

This is such homer crap... Im so sick of when the game is on the line tony finds a way to make a mistake.. I dont if the man threw for 1000 yards in the game when the money is on the line he fails. PERIOD.

His throwing motion? Oh my. He chunked it into tripple coverage. He could've took a simple checkdown to Murray and all would've been well.

Quit making excuses for this guys choking issues. You can't throw it to Escobar covered by 3 guys right there.

You score 48 points you should win period. If you cant win with 6 offensive TDs then the problem simply elsewhere than the QB
