Not sure how you turned my comment into something about a playoff loss, but ok lol. I wouldn't say we make a big deal but i think it's super weird for the owner and not the coach to be saying these things. and a lot of times even the coach doesn't outright say it. You don't hear belichek or Shanahan outright saying who will and won't be playing each week.

At least let the opponent have to 2nd guess if they'll be playing against the starter or backup. Mccarthy will imply the player is making progress and doing a little more each day, then Jerry just pretty much says ignore that, he ain't playing. Don't know if that hurts us but I know it makes the Jets preparation a little bit easier now that they know exactly who will beside Tyron.
I just think we overreact to how much that matters.

No games have been won or lost because of Jerry’s injury comments. Literally none.

Also, nothing he said is in any way definite. If you think gameplans are being affected by an 80 year old senile man giving ambiguous injury answers then you’re really taking this over the top. Jerry’s midweek comments have no bearing on what the actual status of the player is. He could play or could not and Jerry’s comments don’t change that; neither do they change opposing schematics.

Neither of us knows whether it impacts game planning on the other end. What we do know is we wouldn't be having this convo if Jerry didn't blurt out personnel updates. Whether it makes an impact or not honestly doesn't matter to me. It just seems unnecessary for him to do it and helps no one.

We do know because there’s plenty of times where what he says doesn’t line up with what happens. Why the heck would you game plan when it’s a toss up on if it even happens? Other teams aren’t idiots man they aren’t going to hinge gameplans on Jerry freakin Jones lmao.

Let’s live in reality here. This team wins a lot of games and their issues in games they lose are not in any way affected by Jerry Jones injury commentary. Feel like it’s a better use of mental energy to focus on real issues rather than things that have zero impact on W’s and L’s.

Like I said in my first response, Jerry’s comments didn’t lose us the San Fran game. I’m much much more concerned with what is needed on the field to win at that stage. Much less concerned with senile Jerry’s vague injury updates.

Bruh you're killing me lol. So now you're saying he goes and says things that don't line up with actually happens? So like I said, he is making a bunch of unnecessary comments? You talk about wasted mental energy but yet you are going back and forth with me about whether or not we should be caring that our owner/gm is on a radio show giving inaccurate info about the team lol? So since you are admitting that he doesn't know what he is talking about from time to time and just saying whatever, it just goes back to my whole point of why is he doing it, instead of just letting the coach talk about it? We really don't have to talk about it anymore dude. We can just end it here and go enjoy the rest of our nights lol

But what other owners are making these injury announcements? It’s usually the HC.

You put Cooks and Smith in ive until The Patriots. We are going to steamroll the Cardinals anyway and you get valuable reps for people like TJ Bass, Jalen Tolbert, or Asim Richards while having virtually guaranteeing wins
Why would you want to play Bass or Richards over Edoga after last week?

The HC would just be getting the info from Jerry anyway so probably more efficient to just cut out the middle man and get straight from the geezers mouth
I'm sure MM would rather be doing something else than answering these questions, anyway

The league requires injury updates on an injury report every practice day.

Stop hating on your GM...just keep putting money in his pocket by watching and providing rating.....:muttley:
What other teams HC’s don’t announce injuries?

And we put money in all of the owners pockets by watching . Regardless which team or game we watch. It’s called Equal TV Revenue.

The rest of the leagues HC’s have time.

I think we all know why our frikin owner does it. Why would fans defend it?

I don't know....I don't follow other teams. I don't worry about frivolous things.

Why do you care? You must have a perfect life if you let things like this bother you. I don't get it, what's the big deal?
