:hammer:
A voice of reason. Some people are lucky that they don't have anything better to worry about. Meanwhile my daughter is in the emergency room and I'm in the lobby arguing about Jerry!
Wishing her the best man

I’m not upset about it, just pointing out it is outside the norms of what other GMs do. Most GMs are careful not to take away from the authority of their HC. Not here. And we don’t know if it does or doesn’t affect winning or losing. It certainly has the potential to undermine the HC.
LOL!! You all keep digging. It's obvious, you just don't like your owner/GM

There you have it. And you’re entitled to that opinion.

It just hasn’t been a model this era and probably why 30 other owners don’t follow.
Most of those 30 owners don't have three SBs. And yes, our owner had the foresight to hire Jimmy.

Yeah I just don’t see it. The niners game doesn’t come down to Jerry talking about injuries. There are real on-field issues and then there’s stuff people like to be concerned with.

I file this in the “people like being concerned with Jerry talking” bin.

Real concerns are QB/coaching in big moments and injury luck. Until Jerry makes comments that have any bearing on how these work in-game I won’t be concerned in the slightest bit.

We see how well this team has been trending and being coached. Penalties coming down players flying around. To think Jerry speculating about injuries will change that feels like a huge stretch.

So, are you going to be pissed when they win it all?
No but winning a SB won’t heal the mess last 3 decades.

Don’t all fans know how to handle critical thinking for their team?

I guess those who loved you never offered criticism or you just always thought they were hating on you?

Jethro has other businesses too. And other teams GM’s don’t usually make game injury announcements. The HC’s do.

I’d like to hear why you think Jethro does this instead of our HC.
Jerry does it because they ask him and the radio show is very popular. Who cares? The injury report is required anyway. Jerry’s verbal comments don't affect anything.

I don’t disagree with you. It’s probably not effecting player’s performance. And to clarify, I don’t hate Jerry. I just don’t like the results we’ve had the last three decades.

Maybe this is the year things change. I’m certainly hoping so and will celebrate it when we finally get back to a championship game. But it’s impossible for me not to think that the guy that has been the face and centerpiece of this franchise isn’t the biggest part of the problem we’ve had making it past a wild card game.

Don’t you think the players and coaches in their meetings and on the practice field are always receiving criticism along with praise .

Yes , it is all part of the ride. Taking the good with the bad .

There’s a bigger issue at play here. This is just one example.

Agreeing that Jethro had been our greatest obstacle to overcome is one issue most Cowboy fans can agree.

It’s better than it’s been in recent years . Not great yet. Certainly not in comparison to our first 4 decades.

Sorry, after almost 3 decades of this disappointing era I’m going to need to see more .
