Sticking with Brandon Weeden, pimping him like he was good, when we all saw what he was last year vs. Arizona is one of the dumbest mistakes he's made. We got rid of too many people as well. Murray and Harris I underatand, but we could have held onto others. Do you really think Jerry cares about winning? Because he doesn't. Do you really think Jerry's this upset about not being in a Super Bowl? Because he's not. He's got his next monument being built.

Weeden did go on too succeed in Houston. Its ok if you want to blame Jerry, or Weeden or whoever else you feel like blaming, problem is, the real problem lies in the system that we try to run on offense. Period. So there i will blame jerry, other than that, he did what he could to try and make us better. Trusting Garrett was his biggest mistake.

So no new QB?

Just roll out the same broke back QB, rely on him, and bring in more help to try and help him.

We are ****ed

That's fine, don't draft a QB. Because then we'll have the #1 pick next year.

You go Jerry.

That's the only bright side. We are sure to have a top 3 pick.

Unless Romo stays healthy enough to just just have us barely sneak in, or have us barely miss the playoffs and we end up with a late/mid round pick.

That would suck. Draft a QB please

There is no Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck in this draft. And even if there was a can't miss QB, Garrett wouldn't know what to do with him.
It is Romo that makes this offense hum. It's always been Romo. Broke back he may be but with Garrett at the helm, he IS the Cowboys offense. No Romo, no offense. No rook QB is going to change that.

Last year it was Linehan offense, funny how that works

There will be a time during this next season when fans are going to regret not having Johnny Football. After Romo goes down, after RG3 shows why he was a bust, after weeks of poor QB play with no relief in sight, then they will say that Dallas should have signed Johnny. We are entering the last few games of ever seeing Romo on the field and we are going all in. Makes sense to me . I can't wait for the ten years of searching for another decent QB. Those are gonna be some fun times. The Cowboys could hire a chimp and a baboon to run this team and it would be an upgrade. At least the chimp wouldn't embarrass the fans with stupid interviews.

That's the problem. I don't know why JG is still around

Why? 1st you would have to believe he is a very good QB, he has not proven that. I don't dispute RG3 continuing to be a bust but that has nothing to do with the fact Johnny Football is not leading anyone any wheres

He will be an improvement over the scrubs you are about to see.

Still one of the best running games in the league with a top 5 runner that only started 11 games so I wouldn't call it "failing miserably". Yes we can do better but it's not like we stunk.

For all of the people in the offseason and early in the season that were angry we didn't make a run for Chris Johnson---McFadden was better on a much worse offensive unit.

The problem with the running game was short yardage.........we were the worst team in the league converting on 3rd and 1 rushes.

Yes, that is "failing miserably".

which scrubs are those? Johnny can't lead his own life he is not leading any team and right now that is 32 teams who seem to have no interest in a self promoting drunk and potential girl friend beater. How the hell is he going to lead anyone?

I don't put that 100% on the back. I put that on lack of creativity in playcalling and lack of a QB that can change plays at the line or at least keep the opposing defense honest.

Johnny wasn't going to come in here and be some sort of savior. It's time to move on. Rip that bandaid off. Time heals all wounds. Ha!

Well, if the Panthers had won maybe Jerry would have felt a big, strapping young quarterback would be the way to get to the Super Bowl.
Dang, you Broncos!

Ain't THAT the truth................

I think jerry cares about winning as much as any owner and more than many of them
His plan didn't work but it wasn't because he didn't care about winning. It was because he gambled on a backup QB he shouldn't have and had major injuries to two key players

........Hasn't worked in 21 years.

The concept of going all in scares me. I think the smart move is get your future QB, but even if you don't think any of these guys can play then the obvious needs are on the dline. I know many want safeties and cb's but without a pass rush no db is going to shine
Just talent alone this draft is defensive loaded. Several nice DT prospects, some good lb prospects and a few edge rushers
Just don't think you get your bang for the buck with a RB, WR or even a CB
If you want a better defense make the front 7 better and the back 4 will be better

Jerry wants to win. He is doing his best to his knowledge to get it done. I don't deny that.
It's just that the way he is going about it is all wrong. He is in denial. Or he is delusional. Can't figure out which one.

The foundation for the team becoming a winner on the field is all off because of him. (Team is winner in a business sense).

Someone needs to have an intervention with this guy. Seriously.

Weeden wasn't bad per say. He was bad because the system is bad for QBs not named Tony Romo. The system is bad for QBs not named Tony Romo because of the hybrid offensive system dialed up by coaching staff . The hybrid offensive system dialed up by the coaching staff because the coaching staff is off. The coaching staff is off because Jason Garret and his outdated fixation on the system he is used to from the 90s pre salary cap. Jason Garret is there because Jerry Jones. We can go on and on and on but everything goes back to/points back to a systematic disease in the body of the organization. They keep trying to put bandaids on a virus.
