Great. Jerry watched the Super Bowl and he will go "balls out" on trying to emulate what he saw. Isn't this why we never get any better? We have this idea that we copy whatever organization of the year is every year.
never one to build the model of NFL success that other teams can try to copy. Instead we are always trying to copy other franchises.

If he's going to try and emulate that stupid good defense Denver has then fine by me!

Last season it was more Romo protective than Romo friendly, but it was still Romo's offense. When Romo goes down, then YES, it is Garrett's offense (with Linehan play calling). The play calling is Linehan influenced, of course, but it is still a Garrett's version of Norv Turner's offense (based off of Don Coryell system).

Linehan is not a Norv disciple or influenced, so not really his offense.

The problem is "try". He has been trying for a few years now with little or no success. Wade uses his personnel much better than Maranelli. It's fine to try and improve your defense....what's not as fine is chasing something you don't know how to catch and letting the rest of your team go to crap in the process...

I think jerry cares about winning as much as any owner and more than many of them
His plan didn't work but it wasn't because he didn't care about winning. It was because he gambled on a backup QB he shouldn't have and had major injuries to two key players

Owners that want to win don't keep the same losing GM for 20 years.

WPB, we had some weather in the upper 30's. Can't really say much as to bundling up.

Tell you the truth, if anything happens beyond a low paced free agency and 3 targeted players in the draft, I will be the surprised one.

Romo is great at it and people still complain because he takes the play clock down in their opinion. Romo can improvise so can other top QB this is why they are top QB.

Fact is in 2014 none of Garrett critics were saying it was his offense they refused to say that and claimed all he was doing was standing on the sideline clapping and patting player it was all Linehan now it is all Garrett again. What hypocrites at least be consistent. Should Dallas put together a great season then once again the same people will say Jason had nothing to do with it. Pathetic

I am perfectly fine with an offseason dedicated to defense.

The Broncos turned around their defense in one offseason so it can be done. I do believe that anyone who truly believes we are going QB at 4 will be very disappointed. This doesn't seem like a franchise that is ready to throw a premier pick at a player that will not be a projected starter until his third season.

They had wade as DC and use the 3/4 ? and really it was 2 seasons.
We have Marinelli and use 4/3 and some really bad ZOne schemes.
Denver I think used mostly FA to make their defense better.

Marinelli was considered one of the better DC's by Cowboy fans and the NFL in general one season ago. He didn't just forget how to coach.
