If I remember correctly, Jimmy wanted Walsh over Aikman, Jerry would have none of that. That was a good football decision, I think.

That is just not true its been debunked by everyone involve yet it lives on in mythology. Jimmy Johnson knew from the very first that Aikman was his QB but he wanted some insurance and competition, he was very familiar with Walsh so he drafted him.
