jerry is now talking to france and sending offers.
Dak may take 53-55, and jerry probably goes for that!

I wonder too about if there will be a no trade clause again. If so that means they are stuck with him and so are we.
ok forgot this earlier, If jerry is making offers, I would suspect they are new offers, and I dont see why he would do that
unless he wanted to sign dak.
The no trade clause has to not be in this contract. That way they could sign him try 1 year, then trade him for picks,.

Stopped reading.
Of course you did.

Always mister dish it out, attack and criticize those who you don't agree with. Your tired and old I am a better fan than you schtick. Then can't bother with the counter points.

Funny thing is he was not saying Dak was the worst QB and he made a spot on point. But... fragile... we get it.

You do you.

Like I said in the 'talks are positive' thread, what the hell does that even mean? There are no "talks". There are offers and counter offers.

Saying "talks are upbeat" is the equivalent of saying your blind date has a good personality.

France and the NFLPA will not allow Dak to accept anything below a market setting contract.

Lamb will get done, Dak will not, he wants too much. He's a greedy guy with a dismal playoff record. For 55M a year he would be signed right now, he wants north of 60M/year so we really can't win.

No thank you. I'd rather pay Lance 10M and use the other 50M to build the #1 defense in the league

Dak is getting signed for 75 per year, 6 years, no trade.

And then he will go out and makes all sorts of promises he never intends to fulfill and give the team 6 more years of 1 and done.

Go Cowboys!!

Here's My Prediction Guys.

Dak - not getting done this season, door open but most likely gone in FA, we all know.
CeeDee - $36.6 m/yr , 4 yr (first signing)
Parsons - $38.8 m//yr, 4 year, next off season
Ferguson - 3 year 24.7 per. sooner than expected.. They love this dude.
T. Smith - 4 yr unknown $$'s . They love Tyler and it may get done near/same time as Fergy
D. Bland - 3 yr unknown $$'s, wrapped similar time with Fergy/T.Smith.

Just a guess.
I like your list except for Parsons. I want to see how hungry the lion really is.

My fear is that Dak gets paid...I just can't believe Jerry is not bluffing here...manufacturing dread and anxiety for its own sake. I hope you are right and this is truly a prove-it year for Dak.

Talking with a friend of mine last night and he made an interesting point...........if we let Dak walk, our QB position will go from the top 10 to the bottom 20s, maybe 31 or 32 coz Jerry has no plan for a replacement. I never thought about it from this perspective........

That's because we have an idiot for a GM.

No idea of the numbers and honestly don’t care. They can make the numbers work with all 3. The salary cap will continue to go up so the team will be able to make additions. Then there’s the draft which they always do well.
The only wrench to all of this is the DIrect TV court case. If they get stuck paying that judgement, the cap is going to have to decrease or at least not increase for a while.

LOL. These are first offers, bound to be rejected. Dak will think he’s lowballed and so will CeeDee. The latter’s agent will counter and JJ et al will accept. France will counter for Dak with some $60 million dollar amount, then the talks will “stall” and Dak will play out his contract. That’s what I think will happen.
