The only wrench to all of this is the DIrect TV court case. If they get stuck paying that judgement, the cap is going to have to decrease or at least not increase for a while.

That’s what I thought but I found out the salary cap is strictly based on NFL revenues so the penalties will come out of the leagues pocket books. But the owners will certainly try and use it as an excuse to keep salaries in check.

France will counter for Dak with some $60 million dollar amount, then the talks will “stall” and Dak will play out his contract. That’s what I think will happen.

Here's My Prediction Guys.

Dak - not getting done this season, door open but most likely gone in FA, we all know.
CeeDee - $36.6 m/yr , 4 yr (first signing)
Parsons - $38.8 m//yr, 4 year, next off season
Ferguson - 3 year 24.7 per. sooner than expected.. They love this dude.
T. Smith - 4 yr unknown $$'s . They love Tyler and it may get done near/same time as Fergy
D. Bland - 3 yr unknown $$'s, wrapped similar time with Fergy/T.Smith.

Just a guess.

Interesting. Ok I’ll go. My prediction is as follows. I’m not saying I want this to happen but I’m basing this off of Jerry’s past behavior.

This is my bold prediction:
Dak- 4 years, 62 million APY, 100-150 guarantee, NTC intact, no FT clause
CD- 5 years 36 million APY, 75-100 guarantee
Micah- 5 years, 40 million APY 80-100 guarantee

We lose Bland, Ferguson, and Tyler to FA. Jerry and Stephen will use Dak, CD and Micah as their grandiose FA signings and justification to not sign anyone else.

My further prediction if this happens is:
2024- we “hang around the rim” maybe be fringe playoff team if everyone stays healthy.
2025-2028ish- our roster continues to deteriorate, Dak, CD and Micah become dinged up and less effective and we don’t sniff the playoffs. I predict we’ll be a 4-6 win team.

Because using it as an excuse not to utilize free agency they believe helps quell the angry fan base.
