first of all JJ is a idiot for calling him out and if he disagrees with the call then maybe he should just fire the coach.

secondly the call not to go for it was terrible , you have to try and get as many points as possible when provided the opportunity a FG is not guaranteed either

The point everyone is missing is that it was MM's decision to make, he is the HC and O play caller. What anyone else thinks or thought at the time is irrelevant, JJ included.

He botched the entire drive to end the half but his decision at the end there was fine imo.

Whether you agree with Jerry or not, he shouldn't be undermining his HC in public.
Exactly!!!

Arguments can be made both ways, but this is the type of stuff you keep in-house. You call Big Mike into your office and you say "we need to discuss that last play before the half".

You dont go on the freaking radio and say your head coach is a dumb arse and doesnt know what he was doing.

Not a good look.

At the time yes, but now that Jethro has spoken … it gets in their heads.

Right.. but he can’t help himself when trying to deflect public opinion and media which we’re calling it out , at least here locally .

It's a rarity that Jerry is right when it comes to this stuff but he's right here.

What McCarthy did was stupid. And for those defending him because he was scared of his QB, think about this. One, this clock management stuff has plagued him since his time in GB. He's had some clock management gaffes here in Dallas as well. Two, if he's scared of his QB then why is he letting him throw high risk passes in other situations?

It wasn't about Dak. It was about McCarthy doing what he does best - botch clock management.

So he should be free from criticism simply because it was his call to make?

And frankly, what Jerry thinks of that call (and others) is precisely relevant since it's Jerry who signs his paychecks and has to make a decision possibly this offseason about his HC/OC, QB, etc.

Now should he have done this publicly? Likely not. But Jerry never met a microphone he didn't love.

Lmao! Right on cue. All the Romo lovers still hating on Dak! Dak lives in your hateful hearts... 8 years and counting...

my post, "I have to go with Mike, I've seen the qb play before". I made no mention of Romo. Romo living rent-free in your head still hurts you. \
