Jerry Jones has Squashed my Hope for Next Season

The only positive I saw out of the dreadful performance of the Boys this season was I thought for sure it would get Coach Phillips out of Dallas. Now we have another dreadful , undisciplined and uninspired Season to look forward too.

I can't imagine an off season move Jones could make other that a coaching change, to change the mood of Cowboy Nation...

I long cold offseason for sure......

The only positive I could even derive from us not making the playoffs was canning this coaching staff. We don't even get that.

I have to agree 100%.

I mean ,we have the talent and I know they are professionals , but motivation comes from the top.

When you see players playing the blame game , that is a team in disarray.
And to tell you the truth ,I don't think the players respect the coaches, they may like them ,but I do believe there is a lack of respect and most of all,a lack of fear , if they make the same mistake over and over during a game it seems that the answer is" Oh,well we'll work on it at practice". They are not held responsible.

(I don't know what goes on in the locker room or practice but this is JMO you understand.)

And until JJ sees it, we are doomed to repeat our last few seasons.

JJ has to give up some of his authority to a H.C. that isn't a friend to the players but a leader ,which he will never do, because he thinks he can do it himself.

His ego is as big as his New Toy, The New Stadium.

Which I'm afraid was his first priority this year.

He likes the drama more than winning Super Bowls- The media has offices at Valley Ranch, He likes characters not character, He wants the Boys on the Front page headlines for anything- I could go on you get the points, as of our last game- I am offically of the Jerry Jones and Team Oblitarator BAndwagon- Jerry and Team Oblitarator for all the good they can do-- hurt this TEAM even more.

I'm looking forward to next year, but if it ends like this one, I won't be even the least bit surprised. If there's one thing the Cowboys have taught me, it's to temper your expectations.

I saw the Eagles game coming a mile away, I hoped we'd win, but wasn't surprised we got blown out.

Just like I see us doing more of the same next year, (just like we did before Wade and before Parcells, and will probably do after Wade.) I hope we don't, but won't be surprised if we do.

Jerry Needs a strong Big name Coach to help keep him in Check- and that doesnt always work-AKA Team Obliterator

See, I'm not a T.O. fan off the field, but I think with the right HC he can be controlled when he finds out he either tows the line or sits , I don't care how much $$ he makes, he either does what he's told ( by keeping his mouth shut) or just watches from the bench.

But it all starts with a HC who has that kind of authority.

And J.J. just won't give it.
