Exactly. If anyone had any illusions that a 7th round FCS QB was going to be anything close to ready to play in year 1, or anything other than a project, they were fooling themselves.

I'm going to disagree completely and say it was a back-handed compliment to Nooch. What? You believe our 3rd stringer had more time to practice with the 1st team before his first ever start? I think he did pretty well considering. Denver's QB started at Wake so it's not like he's never played the position before. I'll take Nooch's start over Denver's WR/QB. They both were challenged and our's almost came away with a win.
